Hocus Pocus Tattoo Piercing & Permanent Makeup

I got my first tattoo here and loved it because I felt comfortable with the artist Shelby and thought she did amazing. Came back go get my second tattoo, a memorial tattoo for someone who passed. I had specific pictures of what I was looking for. It was in the middle of my rib so I couldn’t see how it looked while it was happening but I had such confidence in her work because of what her Instagram had. I was underwhelmed and disappointed at first glance but it was now there and my second tattoo ever so I was scared. After realizing it’s okay to communicate and work with your artist, I messaged her asking if we could improve it a little. She was okay about it but when I contacted her again after healing, I was ghosted. I was genuinely confused because of seeing how talented she was from social media and my first tattoo, I was so sad about what was put on my body meant for someone who died. It was like she didn’t care. The photo to the left is one of the inspo pics I sent and to the right was what I got. But hey, It was only permanent right?

My boyfriend and I saw Skye today for touch ups on an existing tattoo, and we were incredibly impressed! She completely transformed it and made it look so much better than we could have imagined. She was professional, attentive, and really took the time to work with us to bring our vision to life. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and comfortable. We left thrilled with the results, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and caring tattoo artist!!

Met with Skye for a consult and immediately loved her vibe—I knew I was in great hands. Went back on Saturday to start the first part of my planned sleeve, and I’m so extremely happy with how it’s coming together already. I’m genuinely excited to continue this piece with her! Skye is an incredibly talented tattoo artist, and on top of that, she’s funny, kind, and has excellent taste in music (which always helps during a long session). Took my daughter here to get her first ear piercing with Logan. She was so gentle, patient and kind to my babygirl. My daughter really had a great experience and will remember this forever. About a year ago, I stumbled into the shop as a walk-in and became a customer for life. I’ve had over 10 tattoos done by their apprentice, Shelby. The photos speak for themselves. She’s amazing and even won first place at the Cherry Hill Tattoo Convention for medium black/gray. I’m obsessed with every piece she’s done. She’s also tattooed several of my friends and relatives. Their piecer, Taylor, is also super knowledgeable and talented. I’ve gotten 8+ piercings from her. She’s actually the first person I met when my sister and I walked in for some nose piercings. I’ve had a great experience with everyone at the shop— from the owner, Jess, to girls at the front desk. Everyone is super approachable and accommodating.
