i kind of feel bad writing this review, because i know no one involved really felt good about how this situation went down, but i just want to be transparent as to let future customers know that they may not be able to even receive the piercing they made an appointment for. i made an appointment with anis yesterday for a navel piercing. over the phone, everything seemed cool, the person was super nice. everything was amazing literally until I walked back to receive the piercing. unfortunately, upon performing an anatomy check (which is definitely very normal for these kinds of piercings), i was told i didn’t have the right anatomy for the type of jewlery they had in stock. i guess i just wish i had been told there was a chance of this over the phone, because i was really excited to get the piercing and moved around my day to go to the appointment. they also, unfortunately, did my friend’s piercing crooked, as seen in the last review before mine. although i could tell the people at the front desk were sorry, literally nothing was done to rectify the situation, and i wasn’t given another option nearby to get the correct jewelry. the only recommendation i was given was all the way across town. overall, i know anis was doing the best they could, but i just wish i could’ve either a) been let know over the phone that there was a chance the piercing wouldn’t be able to be done or b) had the situation corrected in some way. i’m sure anis does other lovely piercings, but the experiences my friend and i had were, quite frankly, subpar.

Went here for a second time years apart got nose piercing. Unfortunately, the piercing was too small and was told by another shop it was the cheapest type so it was “lost” in her nose and needed to be replaced. This place is kind of pricey for what you are getting.

My first time being here and it was a very great experience. From Julie, or Julia, sorry if I got your name wrong. She did my niece's tattoo and gave her all of the information she needed and made her comfortable. Also, Billy did my tattoo. It's beautiful, flmy experience was fast and the price was reasonable. Great experience and highly recommended. Our tattoos came out beautifully. Thank you for the great experience. Oh yeah and the receptionist was very helpful as well and the atmosphere was great.

Ive gotten 3 tattoos from Mike and will continue to go back for as long as he is in the Philly region. His work speaks for itself, it’s simply incredible. He can do basically any style you want, he works pretty quick, and is a great to sit and chat with. Also the best value for the work you can find.
