Been going here for years. Clean, friendly shop, and now they even have a retro arcade game you can play before getting some awesome art! Aaron Harding has done pretty much all the work on my body for years now and I wouldn't trust anyone else. He's such a solid tattooer and fun person to hang with while creating some of the boldest, crispy clean lines you've ever seen. Every piece is stunning - highly recommend. I was overall satisfied with the service and really love the tattoo I received. The artist was efficient, and I appreciated how quickly I got my design after walking in. I received sketches via email in less than 24 hours, which I was very happy with, although the image quality was a bit poor. That said, there were a few aspects of the experience that felt off-putting. It took almost two weeks to receive a response through the “contact us” feature on the website, which was frustrating. More importantly, when I came in for my appointment, I was quoted a price that seemed very fair and was told it would remain the same even with minimal shading. However, after the tattoo was completed, the price increased unexpectedly. I was also informed only at the end that payment was cash only. This policy was not displayed anywhere or communicated beforehand, which caught me off guard. While I’m happy with the final result, the lack of transparency regarding pricing and payment made the experience feel a bit disregarded and left me with mixed feelings. Additionally, upon looking more closely at my tattoo afterward, I noticed a line that does not appear in the original sketch, which seems like a mistake that was not brought to my attention.

I can’t recommend this shop enough. The location is impeccably clean, and the entire staff was friendly and patient throughout the whole process. I worked with Thomas Kenney, who was fantastic. He is personable, highly professional, and quoted a very fair price. I’m thrilled with the results—as you can see in the photos, the line work is incredibly crisp and the typewriter font is perfectly executed. Mikey was great. He was precise and fast. Explained everything he was doing and what I needed to do after. If I'm ever back in Pittsburgh and want another I'll go back. I love my tattoo and what it means to me..

My friend and I were in town this past weekend for a concert and wanted to get tattoos. I found the Pittsburgh Tattoo Company on instagram and saw a tattoo from their Halloween flash I wanted. Our experience could not have been better! I actually ended up getting two tattoos because my first went so well! Laura gave me the cutest little skeleton guy, and was so friendly and professional. I then got a short quote from Thom, who was so personable and immediately made me feel at ease. Both constantly checked in during the tattooing to make sure I was doing okay, and everyone at the shop was just so lovely. Whether you live here or are just here for the weekend, I definitely recommend checking this place out!
