We had an awesome experience with Max and the entire front desk staff when getting my 16 year old's ears pierced. The whole space is clean and aesthetic. Super professional! They're so on it with sanitation regulation. 10/10 -- thanks crew!

I ❤️ HOT ROD PIERCING COMPANY!! They are so beyond accommodating and caring. I had 3 piercings done by Max, and I was in and out of the chair so fast. Every question I had was answered fully, I didn’t leave confused on anything to do with the healing process, he talked me through each step, when I emailed them they responded promptly, and the vibes r just so nice. You can genuinely tell everyone there is incredibly knowledgeable and cares about their job and customers. For my initial appointment, and a check up, I was checked in by two of the sweetest people and told to have a nice day by multiple people on the way out. I even had to cancel my check up appointment on a holiday, and they were able to squeeze me in the same day! It is not lost on me that they probably had to throw off their days to accommodate me, which just shows how much they care. And all that is just a plus to my piercings which are healing wonderfully. I am so thankful for everyone there, and I can not recommend them enough to anyone in the Pittsburgh area!!

I've gotten 12 ear piercings from here in total, 6 on each ear, and it's been a great experience every time! They do a really good job of answering your questions, letting you know what to expect during and after, and put a lot of care into making sure that the piercings will look good AND work with your anatomy. Also a fun bonus is that they let you reuse the internally threaded backings from your previous piercings (assuming they work with what you wanna get) so definitely worth checking out if you know you'll want multiple piercings :-)

I’ve been going to Hot Rod for years and they absolutely never disappoint. I went in with a friend today who got a nostril piercing (which was stunning) and I added a second philthrum with jewelry that they had custom ordered for me. Tanner was our piercer and he was absolutely lovely. He took his time making sure every marking was perfect. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The entire staff is always so kind and welcoming. Also. To who it may concern….Please consider allowing Tanner to install a mission impossible style pulley system in his room, I’m sure it would truly aid in making the perfect piercing.

This is absolutely the best piercing studio in all of Pittsburgh and their jewelry selection is thoroughly stunning, features the best designers in the industry, and is much larger compared to other studios. For serious body jewelry fans, this is heaven! Everyone there is incredibly friendly and my piercer, Max, is very precise and detail oriented and I could not be happier with my results so far as I had some very specific requests. I’m just so happy with how careful they are with piercing placement and making sure their clients are happy and get exactly what they want, which hasn’t always been the case for me at other studios in Pittsburgh. Genuinely I cannot speak highly enough of Max and all of their staff. The studio is also pristine and they are hard core about their flawless hygiene standards. I definitely won’t go anywhere else as I have many more piercings planned. Thank you to everyone at Hot Rod for giving me such a wonderful experience and I look forward to returning soon!
