River pays attention to detail, embodies inclusivity, and is WAY more that just a tattoo artist. Not only is River HONEST, CLEAN & COMMUNICATIVE, they are also truly an artist that cares about their clients well being. Cleanliness and sanitation are immaculate and they are wonderful to work with. 10/10 will ALWAYS recommend going to them, especially if it’s your first tattoo!

Great experience from start to finish! River was friendly, the shop was clean, and my tattoo turned out exactly how I wanted. River did an amazing job and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I’m so happy with the results and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

River never fails to get me right. I have been starting a patchwork sleeve on my arm and River always matches my vibe on what I want done. Plus, River is so easy to talk to if you want someone to chat with during your appointment. Easily my go to tattoo artist!

I had such a blast at Kinfolk Tattoo this past week! This is a brand new studio in Bloomfield, and I was able to find parking easily. There is a handicap accessible ramp in front of the building, too. River’s studio feels so comfortable upon entry and I knew I was in for a relaxing experience! His studio is very clean and has well-decorated walls with art he’s collected over the years, and I enjoyed the atmosphere he’s created. My tattoo was from River’s flash sheet designs and I was able to navigate booking with no obstacles online. River had two different sizes of the design I chose printed for me to pick from, and we decided the larger one would look best. Overall, my experience during my tattoo was perfect! River checked in on how I felt often, and spending time with him made me feel like a valued client. River will absolutely be on my list of recommended artists in the area for several reasons! My tattoo is an abstract skull design, a one-of-one original piece. The care River puts into his work and dedication to his craft is apparent and I will absolutely be looking forward to my next visit to Kinfolk Tattoo!
