Serpent Moon Tattoo Coven

This was my first tattoo at age 70. It was a memorial tattoo because my daughter had recently passed. Kaitie did exceptional work. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo. I told her what I would like, and what I would like to incorporate in the tattoo and she was spot on with her design The cleanliness the aftercare and everything she walked me through. It won’t be my last and I will be seeing her again.

First time at Serpent Moon, I had Kati as my artist, and an overall great experience. Kati is professional and friendly the shop was clean and smelled good. Kati communicated everything clearly and was patient with the design and placement processes. It is not my first tattoo but Kati asked to make sure, seems to be a great place for a first tattoo because the shop is welcoming and as another review said not creepy. I was extremely comfortable in the shop and to ask Kati for whatever I needed especially after she told me to ask for whatever I need. I ended up asking Kati not to use second skin because I don’t like it and she didn’t make me feel bad for asking. The shop min. is $150 so fairly priced too. I highly recommend this shop if you’re in Pittsburgh looking for an awesome tattoo. I am planning on coming back to get other pieces touched up and/or corrected and more! Don’t forget to tip your artists.

My two friends and I wandered in on a rainy Saturday with ideas but no appointments. Candy and Izzy were absolutely wonderful. They are so personable and so excited to make your art dreams come true. Between our references and their sketches, we worked together to make stencils we all loved. Izzy did my first ever tattoo and was extremely knowledgeable and patient through the process, especially when I needed a quick break. She took care of my friend's as well -- a bigger piece -- with plenty of care and consideration. Candy did the matching piece to mine for my other friend, even custom mixing colors for them. Absolutely fantastic first tattoo experience. Definitely planning on coming back.

Kati was patient, focused, professional, and friendly. Entire shop was spotlessly clean and they were very focused on hygiene. Very pleased with my tattoo and have already contacted her about another. Update: had second tattoo, this time original art by Kati. Very happy with it, and with how well my first healed up.

I have been getting tattooed by Kati for over a decade. She is hands down one of the most talented and trustworthy tattoo artist in Pittsburgh, and always does absolutely flawless work. She always makes me feel comfortable in her shop and is a great listener and is therefore great at bringing even the craziest ideas to life. My oldest tattoos by her still look great after many many years, see picture! The shop as a whole is professional, clean, friendly and everything you could hope for. Thank you so much!
