Local Color Tattoos and Piercings

What can be said about perfection? A lot! And I will do my best! I went to local color a while back, when I was in college. I had just moved to West Chester and just walked in. Everyone, especially Shannon, was so welcoming and kind. I told her what I wanted, the sailor and the nurse kissing from WW2. SHE OUT DID HERSELF. Not only was the experience caring and respectful, the place was clean and calming. At the time this was my first big piece and she made me feel so at home, like I was just hanging with a friend, we did it in one session, and I walked out a new person! I cannot wait to go back, 10 years later and it looks AMAZING- my wedding dress/look would not be the same without this ART. I have ink that is from her husband that is equally good, and so was the experience. I miss Shannon and her team so much now that I no longer live in PA, but Im gonna have to make a special trip! A hex and many micro miseries to anyone who speaks ill of Shannon and Local color!!!!!

This shop is so clean and welcoming. Kayla truly is a fantastic artist. I am so honored that she was able to do my first ever tattoo. She made me feel so comfortable and was very informative about the whole process. Definitely will be coming back here in the future ❤️

Shannon is truly an incredible artist. She has done both of my sleeves and my leg sleeve, and every single piece has exceeded my expectations. The owners, the staff, they treat you like family and welcome you into their space with open arms. They work closely to make sure you're getting exactly what you want, and charge reasonable rates, especially for such high quality work. The owner Shannon has spent years developing care products that will heal everything from a tattoo, to chapped lips, and you can feel good about the product you're using. This is the best shop I’ve ever been in, been stopping in for 15 years. I drive 60 miles round trip just to go there. The shop is clean and chill to hang out in. There is great music, conversations and vibes. Shannon, Mike, Alex, Kayla and Felicity are really rad and top notch artists. My wife and daughter also frequently visit and we couldn’t be happier.
