Against The Current Tattoo

Against the current tattoo shop provided a welcoming atmosphere, amazing customer service, a comforting and relaxed environment as well as great tattoo work. Alex (the owner and an artist) was extremely friendly, outgoing, and professional. The shop was clean, tidy, and provided snacks/refreshments. My sister and I both got tattooed by Alex and truly enjoyed the conversation made throughout both tattoos. I would definitely recommend Against The Current Tattoo and Alex for any tattoo!

The owner of this shop is so kind and engaging. The shop is very clean and their attention to detail and coloring on their work is breathtaking. The way they are able to use colors and turn the tattoo into full art is amazing !

The establishment is very clean my artist was very organized. I had Brandon and he did great made sure I was good and I love all THREE tattoos I got done! Will be returning soon!

Excellent experience as a walk in on Sunday. Brandon was fantastic, the people were all very friendly, the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Can’t wait to go back! The bull dog was in desperate need of some attention and Brandon was the perfect person to do it. So glad I had him clean it up. He made my brothers memorial piece look brand new again.

I had an amazing experience from the beginning to end. The shop is super clean, welcoming, and has a great vibe. They have a super cool fish tank, and a lot of Alex’s artwork around the shop, even in the bathroom adding a unique and inspiring atmosphere. Alex has done 2 tattoos on me now and they came out better than I could’ve ever imagined. He is able to bring your visions to life, both my tattoos were freehand all I did was tell him the main things I wanted in both pieces and he was able to go far past my expectations. The level of skill Alex has is unmatched to any other artist I’ve been to, the detail and precision in his work is unreal! Alex is an amazing artist with creativity out of this world I will never get tattooed by anyone else. I’m obsessed with the result and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend! I’m from Virginia and had no problems driving hours to get my piece done.
