I would not recommend ordering from Painful Pleasures if you have a deadline.
I placed a $421.48 order on July 10 and paid an additional $71.19 for FedEx Standard Overnight shipping because I needed the supplies for my Health Department inspection on July 14. My order notes even explained that I needed the products by that date.
Despite paying for overnight shipping, I received no tracking number and no shipping updates. After waiting about three days, I called customer service to find out why my overnight order hadn’t shipped. That’s when I was told that several items were out of stock. No one contacted me beforehand to let me know.
Since my inspection was approaching, I told them to ship whatever they had in stock immediately and either refund or send the remaining items later. The items I did receive were in good condition, but my order was incomplete.
Now I’m being told that because the package weight matches their records, there’s nothing they can do about the missing items. That’s not an acceptable response when a customer doesn’t receive everything they paid for.
They did give me about $50 in store credit because they failed to ship my overnight order on time, but I paid cash for expedited shipping and still didn’t receive my complete order. Store credit doesn’t fix the inconvenience, the delay, or the missing merchandise.
Overall, this experience was disappointing. Poor communication, delayed shipping despite paying for overnight delivery, and a lack of accountability for missing items. If your business depends on receiving supplies by a certain date, I would look elsewhere.

If I could give Painful Pleasures zero stars, I would. My experience with this company has been disappointing from start to finish. After two legitimate purchases were canceled by their "fraud" department despite being placed with my own valid payment information, I ultimately purchased a verified Amazon listing for $1,099 that clearly advertised the machine with two batteries. The factory-sealed package was shipped overseas, and when it was finally opened, we discovered it contained only one battery—the second had been replaced with a piece of cardboard. By then, the Amazon return window had already expired due to international shipping times. The irony is hard to ignore: the department meant to prevent fraud left me feeling like the one who was defrauded. While the machine itself appears to be an excellent product, the customer experience has been powerless. I hope Painful Pleasures has enough charge left in its commitment to customers to make this right, because trust—like a battery—isn't easily replaced once it's drained.

I ordered a Stencil Machine just to receive it broken, even though I got the SKU insurance for delivery. Long story short took me 6 months with legal aid to get to a settlement with this tattoo supplier. They were rude, unprofessional and didn’t think I would stick to the principle. They don’t supply anything you can’t get anywhere else. I would use different tattoo suppliers who helped fix my machine and gave me discounts that are far better than Painful Pleasure.

I had placed an order late December 2025 hoping that it would arrive prior to travel plans. Unfortunately shipping was slow and it did not arrive in time and I was required to return the package. The team that is responsible for returns were so helpful and responded in a timely manner. Shout out to customer service!
