Key City Tattoo

Stopped in for a walk in tat on my forearm. Only one artist was available (Matty). dude told me he didn’t want to do the tattoo I wanted to get. Had me pick something off his flash. Ignored me, or responded with short irritated answers the whole time I was being tattood. Tipped him 100$ after, and went up front to pay. Charged me 750$ for a 7”x3” forearm tat. They’re all amazing artists, but I’ll never go back to key city. A tattoo shop should have a good vibe and make the customers feel welcomed, and appreciated.

Cannot recommend Clamore enough 🤌🏼🤌🏼 He drew my visions for my arms and hand more perfectly than I could’ve imagined myself. Not only was his execution flawless, but he also guided me in the right direction with placement and told me straight up if something I was thinking wouldn’t work out in actuality the way I wanted it to. He was intentional with each detail and added so much dimension to the line work by switching up needle sizes as needed throughout the pieces. His ability to do clean and crispy lines is 🤌🏼 He is the king of florals, fruits, and foliage! So much fun to work with! Sitting for many hours in his chair goes by quickly. Run, do not walk, to Key City!

Matty Goldstein has done a couple tattoos for me and he did one for my husband a while back. The shop is clean and comfy, and the front desk guy made bookings with Matty quick and easy. The front desk guy also helped get me in contact with Matty at today’s Baltimore tattoo conference which was helpful since I’m local. Palm tattoos often fade a lot within a year, but both of mine are definitely stitched in there which not a lot of artists can do. My husband is from an obscure European country and Matt knew of Dansin from Luxembourg and the shop where he got tattooed. He’s well versed and honest. Best artist in Frederick and best shop in Frederick in my opinion. Thx

Fantastic experience at this shop. My whole family goes here and sees Dom Naylor. Excellent work always, Jared is always super helpful and on top of everything. Clean, reliable, great energy. 100/10 recommend this place

I have been to the shop three times now and each time was great. All of the artists are great, professional, and friendly. I’ll gladly drive from VA anytime to get more work done.
