I want to give a shout-out to the friendly staff at Bethesda Tattoo and especially to Amber, who designed the perfect tattoo of my precious orange cat. She was able to work from a few photos and some vague ideas from me and craft a piece I'm over the moon happy with! It has healed perfectly, and I'm so jazzed every time I notice the colors and the level of detail. She really captured the essence of my perfect tabby! The consultation and booking processes were seamless, the shop is clean and well-maintained, and Simone at the desk is so sweet. I'm already thinking about getting some more work done here!

Amazing experience working with Liaa to get a tattoo in memory of my mom. It was my first tattoo and she explained everything clearly, and made me very comfortable. People compliment me on the color and shading all the time!

Got my nostril pierced by Mac and they are THE BOMB!!! He is by far the best piercer I’ve ever been to: kind, conscientious, and deeply knowledgeable about anatomy and piercing. They take sanitation and safety extremely seriously and explain every step as they do it, which also makes for a wonderful and non-stressful visit if you are nervous about the procedure. He’s also always available to help if you have questions or want help during the healing stage; I needed to take my piercing out before it was fully healed due to emergency surgery and he walked me through it over messages and then helped me get it back in with a quick shop visit the day after my procedure. Couldn’t say enough good things. If you want a dynamite piercing from a genuinely nice person that will heal beautifully, go get pierced by them instead of by a chain shop that doesn’t take your health seriously!

Mac is the BEST! I had two piercings done back in October and they have healed so beautifully. Mac is professional, knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and incredibly thorough.
