Squid Ink Tattoo

Austin did an amazing job on tattoos for 10 of us in our family, he spent his whole July 4th weekend and Monday to accommodate all of us. We had family that needed to fly home. He took my dad's tattoo pic from Vietnam and turned into something amazing that all 10 of us made our own. My dad passed away on the 29th of June and Austin made sure our family had these tattoos done in a week, and for that I will forever be grateful to him. The tattoos were awesome by the way....

We met Austin on Friday 7/3, explained our situation and showed him exactly what we wanted. We needed a tattoo in memory of our grandfather/dad, we wanted him to replicate the tattoo my grandfather had gotten while he served in the Army in Vietnam. Austin had an open schedule on 7/4 told us to come in and he’d get started on us as soon as the shop opened. He managed to get 6 of us done, staying well past the closing hours on a holiday at that. Phenomenal work, he definitely went above and beyond for my family and I. He’s also planning on doing an additional 4 or 5 of the same for more family members in the coming weeks!

I had a great experience. Austin is a top notch artist. I will be returning for more work in the future. I will also be sending friends and family his way when they are looking to get a new tattoo.

Squid Ink Tattoo is the best tattoo shop in Hagerstown, Maryland! The artists here are incredibly talented, professional, and welcoming. Austin is my favorite artist, his work is amazing, and he always makes the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. The attention to detail, creativity, and quality of the tattoos are Insane! The shop has the best vibes, the chillest atmosphere. Had such a great experience at Squid Ink in Hagerstown! My friend went in for an inner lip tattoo, and Austin was the first artist in town willing to take it on—with all the proper disclosures and care that kind of placement requires. The shop was clean, the whole process was smooth and low stress, and Austin made the experience feel really comfortable and easy. You can tell there’s a lot of pride in both the work and the environment. There are a lot of exciting updates and changes happening with the shop, and the vision for the space is awesome—it’s going to be such a cool place once everything is finished.
