Hemlock Art and Tattoo Studio

This was my first tattoo experience, never had one and never been in a shop, and Megan was excellent. The shop is very clean and welcoming. Megan took her time with me to talk about my tattoo, placement, price and how long it would take. She did my cute little SpongeBob and Patrick and also my daughter’s tattoo which she hand drew from my dish pattern! Very impressed. I was extremely nervous (my first tattoo at 50!) but I would definitely recommend Megan and her shop. 5 ⭐️

I was looking for a shop to start on my cover-up/memorial/sleeve for some old 'barracks ink' after my previous shop closed (nothing bad/negative, I believe the owners simply wanted to move closer to home). I found her listing on here and decided to give it a try as it was completely different from my typical experience with tattoo parlors. While my experience with tattoo parlors have been mostly positive (aside from one time), after experiencing the 'vibe' in Megan's shop, I can say I will never go back to parlors. As many have said, her shop offers an extremely 'cozy' vibe that would help even the most skittish or nervous client feel at ease. Megan is an extremely talented artist that can help bring your idea to life. My descriptive skills are non-existence and the design she came up with for my sleeve/memorial is fantastic and fits the theme I was looking for while still keeping all the key elements I wanted. Megan is fantastic!!! The atmosphere in the shop is always lovely, and her work is beyond amazing. I’ve never once been disappointed by anything she’s done for me. All but 2 of my tattoos have been done by her, and every time I leave impressed with the job she has done!
