This place, hands down, is the best tattoo shop I have ever been to! You walk in the door and you just know! The entire vibe is perfect! "Old NYC" is how I would describe it. With a touch of warm and awesome! Sergio (my artist) greeted me and I knew right away that this was my place. I'd describe it as meeting my little brother. I told him what I wanted and he got it. At least 15 hidden messages/meanings in it and he nailed every single one. Sergio spent about 2 hours tweaking the design with me. Nobody has ever done that. In the end, I walked away with an AWESOME tattoo and by far, my absolute favorite! I will absolutely be back! And I'll send everyone I know! Stop scrolling and go see Sergio Barrale! Simply the best! ❤️

This was by far the best experience in a tattoo shop I’ve ever had. The owner, Serge, greeted us at the door, gave a quick overview and instructions and welcomed us in. He talked to my group and me the whole time and was incredibly personable and a great host to us. Three of us in my group had the artist, Summer. She was SO sweet, her line work is top tier, she is focused on the wants and needs of her clients, light handed, and very precise. I highly recommend this shop for its cleanliness, the quality, and the fabulous people who work there. I will definitely be returning!! -Brooklyn

Got my first tattoo here with Sergio. Had a great experience. He was very kind and professional. His explanations were thorough and the cleanliness of the space is top tier. I was in a time crunch and he managed to get it done in an even shorter amount of time than expected without rushing or sacrificing quality. Truly the best experience I could’ve had for my first tattoo. Definitely recommend. Ask for Sergio.

This is a great tattoo shop! It has a staff of amazing artists, great energy! I have gotten 4 tattoos here and each time I just come in with a picture and a bunch of ideas and each time a different artist has brought them to life, with amazing skill and detail. This is a go to place for me.

I’ve been to a lot of tattoo shops over the years here in NYC and Red Ink Tattoo truly stands out for me. I do consider myself as a collector as I am someone with close to 40 tattoos, and I wouldn't say that lightly. A big part of what keeps me coming back is Serge, the director-manager. He’s very welcoming, quite humorous and setting the vibe. I’m always genuinely pleased to see him whenever I arrive. He makes me feel comfortable and valued right from the start. The atmosphere in the shop is clean, comfortable, and inviting, which matters a lot when you’re spending time and money getting work done. Serge and the team take the time to listen, collaborate, and make sure you’re happy with every detail before anything starts. That level of care and attention is hard to find. Over the years I’ve also had many piercings done here (nostril, nips, collarbone dermals l and septum) I’ve been pleased with those as well. Everything is done with care, professionalism, and strong attention to hygiene, which is so important. They also run great specials several times a month, which is a nice bonus for all clients, and they truly treat returning customers well and making you feel appreciated every time you come in. It’s not very often that I see the same tattoo artist consistently, but they always make sure to have talented, skilled artists on staff, so I never doubt I’ll get work done that I will be happy with when I come in. That reliability and quality make it an easy place to return to. Many of my tattoos have come from this shop, and the consistency in quality and overall experience is why I know I’ll always go back. It’s a great place all around, so I definitely recommend checking it out.
