Alex did an amazing job on both Tony’s and my tattoos! He was incredibly professional, took his time explaining everything, and helped us explore different ideas until we found the perfect design. His attention to detail is outstanding. We travel all the way from New Jersey to get tattooed by him, and he’s absolutely worth it. We highly recommend Alex—100%!

I had a fabulous experience at Uplift Tattoo. The location is quite large, extremely bright, and very clean. I had reached out to Helly with my thoughts for my next tattoo. Arriving, I was greeted by the manager swiftly and offered water. When we got started, Helly had about 12 options she had drawn up bringing my vision alive. I asked to mesh a couple of the options together and narrowed down to two options. Helly printed about 6 different sizes and we worked together to find the right size. We switched that size back and forth between the 2 options slightly moving the location until I was sure which one I wanted. It was so hard to choose as all the options she came up with were truly perfect. The actual tattooing was amazing. She’s incredibly gentle and was totally done in an hour. It came out better than I could have hoped! She took lots of photos/videos in different lighting and sent them to me after. We discussed aftercare and after I received an email from the patient care manager reiterating everything as well with a line to text if any questions arise. I highly recommend Uplift and especially Helly!

I discovered Uplift through other artists and studios I follow on IG. I usually work with a few artists regularly elsewhere, but none of them were willing to do a hand tattoo, even though they are all extremely skilled. I was fortunate enough to connect with Elzhana and discuss the piece I wanted done, that others would not do. The piece turned out exactly how I wanted it. I wanted it to be in my own handwriting, which is small, and wanted it to be imperfect, so she placed it once, and I said “perfect.” At the time I was recovering from spinal cord surgery, which made it difficult for me to remain comfortable and still due to pain and weakness, but Elzhana was very accommodating, understanding, and patient given my circumstances and the nature of my situation. She is very easy to communicate and collaborate with as well. There are so many talented artists there, but I will definitely be working with her again when the time comes. I’ve gotten work done at some of the most premier studios in NYC, and Uplift is on par with them. The studio itself is beautiful and the energy is great. The team is very friendly and you can tell they care about their clients. I will say what sets them apart from the other studios I’ve been to is their level of communication. Obviously studios send reminders/confirmations via text & email, but Uplift follows up with clients like none of the others I’ve been to. They want to know you’re satisfied and happy with the work that’s been done. They make it feel very personable. Not just in & out. Can’t recommend them enough, especially Elzhana, who did what nobody else would. Thank you!!

I had such a beautiful experience at UPLIFT Tattoo in NYC. To be honest, all my previous tattoos were done by one artist back in my hometown, so I’m usually very selective and careful about who I trust. I originally came in just for a consultation, but the energy in the studio felt so welcoming and professional that I ended up getting three fineline tattoos the same day. Junh is an incredible artist. His technique is extremely precise and delicate. The fineline work looks elegant, clean, and very detailed. I was also surprised by how minimal the pain was during the process. He takes his time, explains everything, and makes you feel completely comfortable and confident. I also had an amazing experience with Bussy, who helped me change all my ear piercings as well as my belly button piercing. He was very gentle, professional, and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. The whole atmosphere at UPLIFT is calm, aesthetic, and very attentive to detail. The team is kind, organized, and truly passionate about what they do. It felt more like a creative experience than just an appointment.

After checking out a few places that specialize in fine line tattoos, we decided to go with Uplift and we’re so glad we did. From the moment you walk in, their professionalism really stands out. Our artist took the time to talk through placement and style, offered thoughtful suggestions, and absolutely delivered on the final result. The entire tattoo area was spotless and comfortable, which made the experience even better. I’m already planning my next session.
