not new to tattooing, but this is my first time getting a very extensive back piece (infinite work to be done in the future by Ana and her coworkers from this shop). CANNOT recommend this shop, and Ana specifically (haven't had the pleasure of working with the other artists yet) enough. just SUPERB and excellent in every aspect that you want and expect from a tattoo artist/parlor. i have posted a lot of details to the work she did and the shop on instagram, for anyone interested; tag is @andyjin.DO. PRISTINE shop, front door to the bathroom, and just absolutely sick decor/furnitures all around (pics in ig post as mentioned above). ana has incredible bedside manner, and goes above and beyond in her prep, design, and everything to make the appointment as seamless and comfortable for her clients. rates are VERY reasonable for the work that she does, and i would tip her handsomely every session if i had more money, really. with that said, super efficient and fast with her work, only charges table time with mutual breaks in between. she specializes in anime tatoos, but based on her work so far and just her incredible artistic talent, i wouldn't put many projects past her. i just gave her a few ideas and specifics of what i wanted in a very meaningful back piece, and she just RAN with it, doing a beautiful job with waaaaaay more sessions upcoming to get so much work done by her. she really is a lovely and down to earth gal that i couldn't really imagine anyone not getting along with. overall, HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this shop and ana. thank you ana (@a.v.tattoos) for everything, and i can't wait for our upcoming sessions and the start of a beautiful partner/friendship!

Alistair is a great tattoo artist! He has solid line work and knows how to create great custom tattoos. He will ruin all other tattoo artists for you and you will find yourself comparing all tattoos to his. Plus he’s fun to talk to and is extremely professional! TLDR: Alistair is great and you should hit him up

I had such an amazing experience for my first tattoo at Art in Motion. I was recommended my a great friend to Steve, who was my tattoo artist and is also the owner. First off, the shop is clean and super cozy and smelled great! I was nervous and I wanted someone good I could trust. I found that with Steve and his studio. I kind of knew what I wanted but unsure of where. Steve took his time and worked with me and was completely honest on placement of the kind of tattoo I wanted. You could tell he really enjoys and is good at his work and not out to just make money. He wants you to be happy. He was patient and explained every detail. He made me feel so comfortable. I’m extremely happy with my tattoo it looks great and would highly recommend if you are looked to get tatted, AIM and Steve are it!. I’m already thinking about my next one! Thank you Steve and AIM!

Steve is the best. Lined up the Laurel Wreath on my head in one shot, absolutely NAILED the placement. Every aspect of the design is placed just where I wanted it. Any artist here can accommodate your needs!
