Jinx Proof Tattoo & Body Piercing

Five stars for mansplaining. Walked in based on local family’s recommendation and was deeply disappointed. Whoever was working (white man with a long beard) could not be bothered with me and my son; he even made a face and said he wouldn’t waste time giving my son the tattoo he wanted. Sure, he said he wouldn’t waste our time or money, but it was unmistakably the vibe behind the words that left us feeling unwelcome, so we left. Multiple thumbs down.

Out of my 23 years of life i have never left a review after visiting any establishment. So this just goes to show how horrible my experience was. I went into the shop wanting to get my nose repierced...I have had it pierced twice so i know what to expect. First off the guys at the shop are extremely unwelcoming and have no customer service. After telling the piercer i wanted my nose repierced he marked it where the old piercing was. After he marked me I closed my eyes as i don't like seeing the needle. To my surprise he used NO CLAMP which i have never experienced before in any of my piercings. Because there was scar tissue it was even tougher to get through and because there was no clamp it was so beyond painful. I have had multiple tattoos and piercings, so i have a pretty high pain tolerance. I have NEVER experienced such pain before. I quite literally started shaking out of pain to which he yelled at me to stop moving. Once he was done fishing through my nose with a needle i started crying from pain. He didn't clean my nose after or even ask me if i was ok. It has been hours and my nose is still THROBBING of pain. He also did not give any kind of washes to clean the piercing, let alone directions in the instance that someone has never gotten a piercing before. And as someone who has had piercings i know the bar is too small. I will now have to go to another piercing shop to get the piercing changed and hope it doesn't get infected from this absolute joke of a piercing experience. Save your money and your tears and go somewhere else that knows how to pierce correctly and actually enjoys their job.

I came here when I was 18-20 to get tattoos, and less than five years later my tattoos are spreading weirdly because the artists only know how to use one wide needle gauge. they didn't talk to me about how tattoos will spread over time or adjust their line width to take that into account. they just did what was easiest and fastest, and they took advantage of me when I was young and didn't know better. now I have some smudgy tattoos, several of which have blow-out. go somewhere where the artists care about their clients.

I am incredibly disappointed in this location. I came here a few days ago to receive a helix piercing. When he showed me the jewelry it was all scattered in a box and didn’t seem well cleaned. Nonetheless I received my piercing. After the first day it felt fine. Immediately after I showered I felt an unbearable throbbing pain followed by severe redness and swelling. I thought I had done something wrong on my part and kept cleaning my ear and leaving my hair up. Eventually the pain became so unbearable even after taking multiple Tylenol pills that I had a friend take it out for me. I was shocked as to what my supposedly $90 “gold” jewelry had turned into. As shown in the photo the jewelry was extremely tarnished which should never happen especially with a fresh piercing. I paid over $100 for this piercing and I don’t know how much worse this would have became if I did not take it out in time. I visited a reputable piercing studio to get my conch pierced recently and experienced no issues like this. I advise everyone to stay away from this location as infections such as this jewelry could have caused can lead to huge medical issues. Not happy.
