UPDATE: My Yelp review was removed for some reason and I've been blocked by the artist. Feels like the studio is aware of the PLAGARISM but is sweeping it under the rug. TLDR: $1000 tattoo at Hello Ink was sloppy and PLAGARIZED. Thought I was paying for a custom design. Turns out the design was PLAGARIZED from Oozy_Tattoo. On the day of the appointment, the artist kept asking if I knew about Oozy, that’s how I made the connection that this was his original work. Got the tattoo at the end of June - pictures are about 2 months healed. It took about 3 hours to do. Work is sloppy - faded lines throughout the tattoo, blotchy shading, uneven lines, some spikes not colored in. What's annoying is she told me she can do color. Should have seen red flags from the disorganization in booking. Was asked to Zelle her a deposit, but the artist didn't provide a Zelle. We confusingly went back and forth on a date. She asked me to remind her of my appointment a month out, and when I did, asked me to send a deposit again. Told me she'd send me a snake sketch, even though I asked for a dragon and didn't give much more details besides that. I had to prompt the conversation on design. I found another tattoo on the her insta (dated Aug 4) that has a similar shape and dimensions as my tattoo. I know artists use references, but when my tattoo is PLAGARIZED work from Oozy, isn't this other tattoo a potential copy of a copy? Makes me wonder how many other PLAGARIZED tattoos she's charged $1000 for. Someone with 2 years of tattoo experience, sloppy color work, and who PLAGARIZES tattoos should not charge $1000 for their work.

This shop is great! Cindy’s artwork caught my eye months before my trip to NY and she was super accommodating and responsive when I reached out for an appointment. This shop has some crazy talented artists🖌️They were also able to fit my sister in for a walk in tattoo which was great. I would definitely recommend an appointment though because it was pretty busy! They even have a cute little dog that walks around the shop along with water refreshments and little candies :)

This is my second time at Joe’s studio, but first time at Hello Ink, and Joe is as friendly as ever! I wanted a traditional Chinese watercolor/calligraphy styled tattoo and he was honest with his opinions and suggestions in placement and sizing, and it turned out amazing! It was so delicate and detailed! His pricings were quoted before the session started with an estimated time and did put budget into consideration. Super chill and easygoing, and my friend was allowed in to wait for me! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you so much! And here’s some studio pics; it was super clean and felt warm, cozy, and relaxing. Free water and watched anime on Netflix. There are also coffee and snack options, which can be redeemed through his point system! He brought his doggo to the studio and that was a fun interaction

Joe is the absolute best! My son and I have had several from him and he is not only a talented tattoo artist, he's also just a great human. Good prices for the high quality work he does. The new studio is awesome too! So much room and a great vibe. I highly recommend getting a tattoo here.
