Had a great experience at this tattoo shop. My husband and I went as a walk-in and were able to sit with Brandon right away. The shop is very clean and all artists were professional. Additionally, Brandon was fun to hang out with while we were in the chair and has a great sense of humor! Will return when in NY :)

I had the best tattoo experience I could have asked for with Nick. This was my first large tattoo, and I had a lot of questions before deciding to get the tattoo. Nick was incredibly patient, took the time to explain everything, and made the entire process feel comfortable and stress-free. I had already been following his work on Instagram, so I knew how amazing his tattoos looked. But somehow, seeing him actually work on my tattoo made me even more impressed with his talent. His attention to detail is on another level. I had multiple different ideas that I wanted to combine into one cohesive tattoo, and after talking it all through, Nick helped bring everything together perfectly. He really understood my vision and took what I had in my mind and put it all together. The quality of the artwork and the final tattoo exceeded my expectations. As far as the tattoo shop, the place is very clean, well-organized, and has a very calm environment. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and would absolutely recommend Nick to anyone.

Hearing parts of his life story was inspiring—I walked away not only with a beautiful tattoo, but with a deep admiration for his resilience and passion. This piece will always be such a meaningful way to commemorate our NYC trip. Shakira designed an original mermaid piece for my husband, and we are honestly speechless. The level of detail, creativity, and precision in her work is absolutely flawless. Beyond her talent, she brought such a calm, kind energy to the experience. My husband kept saying how much he appreciated the genuine human connection and conversation while she worked—it made the whole experience feel so personal and special. She is truly a beautiful soul with an extraordinary gift. We both left with tattoos that we are incredibly proud of, but even more than that, we left feeling so thankful for the time we got to spend with two genuinely amazing people. I wanted this tattoo done on my birthday while in New York on holiday from Scotland. I chose Manhattan Tattoos due to the great Google reviews and I must say, Google, you didn’t let me down! From first contacting the studio and messaging back and forth with my artist, co-owner Shakira, I knew I had made the correct decision. Shakira is so friendly and professional and talked me through every single aspect of what was happening. The end result is a tattoo that is actually much, much better than I could ever have imagined. I also saw work from the other artists at Manhattan Tattoos and I 100% recommended using this studio for tattoos of any style and size. I will definitely be back as soon as I have saved up enough money to get back to New York! ✌️♥️
