I had an amazing experience from start to finish. My tattoo artist made me feel comfortable the entire time and took the time to help me choose the right tattoos instead of rushing the process. He was patient, professional, and constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain during the session. His attention to detail and genuine care for his clients really stood out. The tattoos turned out even better than I imagined, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I can’t wait to go back to him for my next tattoo. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented artist who truly cares about both the quality of his work and his clients’ experience.

BEST TATTOO PLACE IN ALL OF UNITED STATES HANDS DOWN! I came into Red Rocket Tattoos hoping for a good experience and walked out with two tattoos that I’m genuinely OBSESSED with. This place deserves every single 5-star review it gets. From the second I walked in, the energy of the shop was incredible, super welcoming, insanely cool atmosphere, amazing artwork everywhere and none of that intimidating attitude some tattoo shops have. Everyone was kind, patient and actually made me feel comfortable instead of rushed or judged. Shannon Ritchie was my artist and I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. He listened to exactly what I wanted, paid attention to every little detail and somehow made the tattoos come out even better than the reference pictures I showed. The line work, placement, shading, everything is PERFECT. You can tell immediately when someone genuinely cares about their craft and he absolutely does. What stood out the most was how well they treated me as a person. They checked in on me constantly, made sure I was comfortable during the whole process and made the experience feel exciting instead of stressful. It felt less like “getting a tattoo” and more like hanging out with genuinely cool people who happen to be INSANELY talented artists. There are tattoo shops everywhere in NYC, but this one actually deserves the hype. If you’re anywhere near Times Square and thinking about getting inked, go to Red Rocket Tattoos and ask for Shannon or anybody. Seriously. It's been nearly 20 years since I got my last tattoo, but knew I wanted another. Started planning the newest tattoo about 10 years ago, but as happens in life got busy and never got around to making arrangements to have the new tattoo done, each of my tattoos have special meaning to me and the experience of getting them usually had a specific significance as well. One week ago I luckily found myself in Manhattan NY for a day of sight-seeing after a business trip. Near the end of day and running out of time for much else I was ready to pack it in and wait for my flight home (to Montreal Canada), when a moment of kismet occurred. While walking back to my hotel I happened upon a sign in the street with the inviting words "tattoo shop : walk-ins welcome" and thought to check it out. As I walked up the stairs of Red Rocket Tattoo all the old feelings came back looking at the beautiful tattoo art decorating the walls. The staff at Red Rocket Tattoo were amazing upon entering. It just felt right so I finally got my new tattoo. It was a great experience, the artist was clean, organized, very versed and professional and super friendly. A week later my tattoo is healing well and looking great. I am so happy with my tattoo and the wonderful experience I had getting it. Thank you Red Rocket Tattoo for the fantastic work!
