Freehold Tattoo

My son had his ears pierced today by Cecelia. She was welcoming and professional, and we are very pleased with the piercings. The shop is clean and everyone is friendly.

This tattoo is my favorite ive been coming here since 2020 6 years in the making wonderful people very funny guys Brian one class act dude cracks me up every time kevin to both are 2 goof balls 🤣 luv stopping by hang out with monkey 🐒 he da man 😌😉

Our third time here and we always leave happy. Kevin does amazing work and easily creates what you want. Great friendly staff too.

i don’t normally leave reviews but this was definitely the most unpleasant experience i’ve had while being tattooed. i’ve been here in the past to get a tattoo done and i enjoyed my experience with jesse, who has since moved, but i decided to go back there anyways for a new tattoo. i got tattooed by monkey boy, who honestly made me feel stupid the entire time i was there. him and the receptionist, who i assume was a high school girl, were unhelpful anytime i asked for their input. they both seemed very annoyed with me being there. not once did they seem like they were being sarcastic or joking the entire time i was there, very serious-faced. the girl also had no problem making unnecessary impolite comments about my tattoo, such as “let me guess, you want the leaves to be smaller?” after i already had gotten the tattoo. i did want the design changed a few times before getting the tattoo obviously, but it’s on my body forever so i didn’t think it was a problem. also when i pointed out a line that came out wonky, i was told its because my skin was wrinkly. btw im 22 and size xs, so i have no wrinkles yet, especially not on my thigh. i felt like i was back in high school and put in an incredibly uncomfortable situation. monkey boy said he was joking once he saw the generous tip i gave anyways, but i honestly didn’t believe that, i think he only said that cause of the tip i gave. he did say if i wanted to come and get it touched up i could which was nice, but im not sure i’ll be taking him up on that offer. also, they have a sign on their wall by the front desk saying your hygiene and attitude reflect your final price, so i felt i couldn’t say anything in response to their comments. the tattoo came out pretty, but i didn’t expect crying in my car afterwards. also the second skin wasn’t on properly and when i got home there had been fuzz from my pants underneath it touching the tattoo, so i hope that heals well.
