Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The studio was clean, professional, and welcoming — you can tell they take hygiene seriously. My artist listened to exactly what I wanted and brought it to life better than I imagined. The piercing was quick, virtually painless, and they walked me through aftercare in detail. Everyone on staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Can’t recommend this place enough — already planning my next visit!

Woooot! I am not a spontaneous person. Not when it comes to big decisions like something permanent. In fact, I’m the kind of person who price- and- review tracked a pair of leather boots I wanted for over a year before I committed to buying them. But this particular weekend, I was feeling the itch for some new ink, something small. And a coworker of mine had a great experience with Philly Joe’s tattoos in Newtown when it came to a piercing. So on a whim, I went Over there on a Saturday afternoon. To my great luck, they had a tattoo artist (Mic) available for walk-ins and when he finished with an existing client, he drew up the sweetest design for me based on what I was asking for, and did a fantastic job executing. I couldn’t be happier. The owner‘s wife, Melissa, was running the shop that day and she was personable, clearly loved her job and her staff, and her customers. This is absolutely the kind of place I’ll go back, and a girlfriend of mine who joined me for the experience will also be coming back. If you are in the greater Newtown area and looking for a fantastic tattoo experience, this place has you covered.

Melissa was an amazing person taking her time and ensuring that we were fully educated about our piercing and comfortable with what we were going to get. The shop itself is beautiful and cannot wait for the place to be fully realized with the community space they are planning. Come support get a piercing or a tattoo.

I attended the grand opening, won $350.00 Gift Certificate with an artist. Went to schedule only to have the owner tattoo me instead which is awesome so I thought. I had 4 small tattoos done on my fingers. The first time tattooed the tattoos did not stay. Literally took about 30 minutes for all four. After I left I asked do I have anything left on the gift certificate. $350.00 + $50.00 tip. I was told no there is nothing left. I sent a pic of the tattoos that basically disappeared. I was told to come back in. Which I did April 10th. When I sat down, the area to be tattooed was not cleaned or shaved. I was a little surprised especially since this is the owner and is a new location. The owner went back over the faded tats. Now two weeks later and they’re gone again. I feel like because this was on a gift certificate I wasn’t treated like a “real client” or because this was a redo and I wasn’t paying it was hurry up and get me out. I have pics too. I am not reaching out to the shop because i definitely wasn’t made to feel welcome or important enough especially since there was no care taken to sanitize the area to be tattooed.

I took my son in for his first tattoo and one for me also! The employees and owner were helpful and kind. It was a great first experience to share with my son. Definitely recommend you check them out.
