From start to finish, my piercing experience with James was AMAZING. We corresponded via email, and from the very first email, he was incredibly responsive, patient, and informative. I came in for the hidden rook piercing, and not only did he deliver flawlessly, but he also made the entire process super easy. James instantly put me at ease—professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. He walked me through every step of the procedure, explaining placement, aftercare, and what to expect during healing. The piercing itself was quick and surprisingly comfortable, thanks to his over 2 decades of experience. If you're considering a hidden rook—or any piercing, honestly—do yourself a favor and book with James. He’s a true artist and a total professional. I couldn't be happier with the experience!

James was absolutely amazing for my industrial piercing. He was patient, knowledgeable and really took care to put me at ease as I was quite nervous. I haven’t had any piercings since I got my lobes done as a kid and he gave me great advice on how to care for my new piercing. I can’t wait to go back and get more done!

I went to the Parlour today to get my ears pierced for the very first time. The shop is extremely clean, well-organized, tasteful, and pleasant, and just has a great, mellow vibe. James, the owner, who did my piercing, was absolutely fantastic. You can tell right away that this is someone devoted to a highly specialized and demanding craft who has extraordinarily refined knowledge and skill and loves sharing it with people to make their experience as enjoyable and reassuring as possible. He did not at all look down at me for being a first-timer and took readily evident pleasure in talking to me during and after the experience. I can't say enough nice things about this place. If you want piercing work done, just go to the Parlour: enough said.

Updating my review from four years ago and four piercings later this place is STILL amazing and affordable got my septum done here. James is FREAKING AWESOME! Highly recommended. I recently got my eyebrow pierced this weekend. I will only go to The parlor for tattoos or piercings.

I had Jon do my first tattoo and I could not be more pleased. He is easy to communicate with, responsive and patient. His design was fantastic and as a fellow artist it was imperative that the art was cohesive. From start to finish Jon was a pleasure to work with. I was comfortable and calm. Jon was great about keeping everything clean and very detailed with the after care. My husband was so impressed he had Jon tattoo him the next day (it was his first too). We will both be getting more art done by Jon. He is stuck with us now :)
