Kaleidoscope Tattoo & Art Gallery

My session with Jennifer Medrano (insta:@medranotattoos) was my first tattoo experience at a tattoo store, and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. I reached out over email requesting a cover up of a DIY stick/poke with a proposed design concept. Not only was Jen super responsive but Jen also spent so much time and effort drafting a design that perfectly depicted my requests regarding style, size, etc. Jen was also very professional and considerate during the tattoo session by being transparent about the whole process and expectations at every step, starting from finalizing the design in person, during the actual tattoo session, and the aftercare. I cannot stress enough how extremely talented and versatile Jen is as an artist. I would highly recommend coming to this tattoo shop, especially to work with Jen. I’m beyond satisfied with my tattoo (microrealism style), and Jen has so many really cool original tattoo ideas that I highly recommend anyone to consider getting. If I ever want another tattoo I’m definitely coming back here for Jen.

This was the best tattoo experience I have ever had. I have worked with five different artist, and Sandra was incredible!!! Not only is she incredibly talented and worked to make sure my tattoo was exactly what I wanted, but she was so patient as we explored alternative designs and made me feel so comfortable. It’s only been a few days and I’ve had multiple people asking for her name. Scheduling was easy and flexible. I will only be going to Sandra from here on out! Highly, highly recommend!

I got my nose pierced here- still a sentence I’m surprised to be saying, because I was so apprehensive and scared about everything that could possibly go wrong (from not liking it, to feeling pain or dealing with infection). I was lucky to be with an encouraging friend who held my hand. Shawn made the process very relaxed and is so professional, everything is super clean (definitely a thousand steps up from Claire’s where I got my ears pieced in middle school). The piercing went better than when I got my flu and Covid shots and nearly passed out in CVS. I was able to walk out of there 20 minutes later, no ibuprofen or anything, felt totally normal. And the best part is… I LOVE MY NOSE STUD. It is the cutest hottest thing ever and I have 0 regrets. So if you are thinking of doing it, even if you’re a scardy-cat, you will be more than okay! And also, the aftercare is really easy. I was scared about that and it’s barely anything. I’m now just sort of twisting it randomly in the middle of the day and it’s amusing (not painful or uncomfy)

Mikey went above and beyond to make my first tattoo experience a wonderful and safe time. Popped in on Friday morning with my SO to ask about getting some flash tattoos and Mikey was more than happy to take a look at what we wanted and give us a realistic timeline on getting it done the following day. Overall would 100% recommend this shop and Mikey.

Sandra B. did a very intimate, personal tattoo for me, covering a scar. She was absolutely amazing from our first email communication, to our consult and throughout the entire tattooing experience. She was caring, friendly, fun, and most importantly: extremely talented! The tattoo came out beautifully and the experience was great. I will certainly go to her again and again! I almost don't even want to leave this review for fear that she will be too booked to ever fit me in again! (Oh and the shop itself was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful)!
