I've been getting tattooed by Ian for 10 years, but this was my first time visiting his new studio! The space was clean and private with plenty of free street parking. It's easy to get to and there's tons of restaurants and coffee shops within a 5 minute drive, which is a plus for a tattoo appointment! Ian himself is an absolute angel! He's kind and considerate and a very talented artist. I have never had a negative experience with him. Ian is always willing to listen and tries to understand what elements you want in a tattoo, which leads to beautiful artwork! He has a super light hand while tattooing as well. I was scheduled for a 4 hour appointment and the tattoo took around 2 hours even with a few breaks. He even touched up a 6 year old tattoo at no additional cost! I have a medical adhesive allergy and Ian uses adhesive free bandages, which I greatly appreciate. The first time he did this for me, he had planned ahead and had it ready so I wouldn't leave with a potential allergic reaction. The appointment process was very easy to understand. Getting automated reminders is super helpful if you're someone who likes to plan ahead. Card payments are done through the card you add during your scheduling making post-tattoo checkout super seamless and easy during a post-tattoo haze. I'm excited to visit Ian again and get more beautiful creepy tattoos added to my neverending collection.

I now have 5 different tattoos done by Ian and cannot say enough good things about working with him. Ian is incredibly personable, professional, and most importantly talented at what he does. Each experience working with him has been better than the last and I can't wait to work with him again in the future. I would strongly recommend his services to anyone, whether it is your 1st tattoo or your 100th tattoo! Ian is the man, 'nuff said.

Ian is awesome. He’s done 3 tattoos for me and I’m getting my 4th today, which probably says it all. He’s super collaborative, patient, and takes the time to get things right. His work is top notch, his prices are very reasonable, and you can tell he’s been doing this forever—he really knows his craft across a lot of styles. I recommend him to pretty much everyone I talk to.

Ian is wonderful and a master at his craft! I've gotten several tattoos with him, from small designs to large body pieces, and they've all come out so beautifully. He takes lots of time to go over your ideas to make sure they're exactly what you want. He's very patient and kind and does everything to make sure you're comfortable and happy with your design. Can't recommend a better artist!

Had a great experience with Ian getting one of his lil death head flash tattoos done. He’s got a light hand and a relaxed, friendly demeanor that makes an hour go by in what feels like no time at all. Plus he’s got plenty of interesting stories to share, especially from his earliest days tattooing in the 90s. Photo is from about 30 hours post-session. Swelling & redness has been pretty minimal. I definitely plan on going back to do a custom piece next time! One thing to note: Google maps doesn’t seem to like his address; navigation took me half a block too far. His studio is in the “my salon suite” building above the parking garage.
