I had such a positive experience with Heather! This was my first tattoo and she was so patient and helpful with providing feedback and alternate options when I had second thoughts at the last minute. She was professional, thorough, and really made the whole process so great! My original design didn't pan out how I imagined, but she was great about showing me other options and not pushing me at all. Cannot recommend enough!

Heather has been my girl for the last 6 of my 9 tattoos. She is always very attentive and puts her heart into all the designs i bring to her. 3 of the tattoos I have from her she recommended trying a variation of what i originally brought to her. I was at first nervous, but each one has come out better than i ever expected. I find myself at times coming up with tattoos simply because i want to go and work with her again. 6 out of 5 stars. I found Rivers to Roads Tattoo Shop through an Internet search. I searched for all tattoo shops and artists in the area, Suffolk and Essex counties, New Hampshire seacoast area and even a shop in North Conway. I studied each shop and every artist. Heather’s work stood out to me. Heather took a great deal of time working with me on what I was looking for in my tattoo and why I wanted this tattoo. Her final design was awesome, exactly what I was looking for. My tattoo experience at Rivers to Roads, with Heather, was excellent and I would not change a thing about the experience, it was tremendous! Heather gave me clear instructions on how to care for the tattoo and how to follow the post tattoo protocol. My wife and friends are amazed at the realism of the hawk and always comment on the red-tail’s eye. They can’t believe how it stands out and really brings the hawk to life. Heather, again I can't thank you enough and I love the tattoo and the heart and soul you put into creating this work of art for me. Absolutely awesome!

Always an outstanding experience visiting rivers to roads and working with Heather. From the moment I walk in the shop I feel at ease. The space is beautifully filled with plants, local art and good vibrations. I’ve had many tattoos from Heather over the years and completely trust her. I value her insight when planning a new tattoo. She is considerate and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. She goes above and beyond to making her clients feel comfortable. The shop provides not only quality work but refreshments and hygiene products as well. At my most recent visit, I relaxed watching Netflix, listened to great tunes and had even better conversation.
