Good Mood Tattoo

Coolest tattoo shop ever!!! I've been following Sophia (plant puke tattoos) for awhile on instagram and was so excited to see she had opened her own shop with her partner. I was finally able to come by and it did NOT disappoint! I made an appointment with Sophia for a kewpie baby flash tattoo. It was an older flash piece so she took the time and care to redraw it in her more current style and it turned out SOOOO adorable. Sophia is incredibly fast, kind, professional, and does great work. Im very happy with how it turned out! The shop itself has got to be one of the best ive been to in Chicago. The decor alone need to be photographed for a magazine. There are so many interactive aspects - a take a trinket leave a trinket box, VHS movies you can watch, a photobooth, and a fun surprise disco in the bathroom. They also offer snacks and drinks which i always find very sweet from tattoo shops. There are so many talented artists working at this shop and its obvious so much love and care has been put into curating a unique and comfortable experience there. Will absolutely be back for more tattoos from Sophia and the other artists working there.

Found this shop via Instagram and couldn’t be happier! My partner and I came from out of state and everything was super easy. I booked in advance with Sophia and he ended up doing a walk in appointment. Definitely plan on going back next time I’m in Chicago :)

I got my first tattoo here a few weeks ago with Sophia, and it was a great experience. The shop itself is bright and colorful, filled with art and flash designs. Sophia took time to make sure I liked the design, and even made some requested edits the day-of. She made sure that I was comfortable throughout, often checking in while I was getting tattooed. She's also been highly responsive to any questions I may have afterward, and provided comprehensive aftercare guidelines. Overall, I'd highly recommend Good Mood Tattoo to anyone looking to get their first tattoo, or add to their collection. Plus, it's great to support a small business that helps enrich the local community as well.

I had the pleasure of getting my scorpion tattoo done by Cristina @corazontatuajes, and the experience was so definitely worth it! I’m new to this shop and the immediately I felt welcomed by everyone there, and the atmosphere of the decorations, the knik naks, and just the vibe there was comfy and definitely eye catching! Everything was amazing and I would definitely visit again!
