I had such an amazing experience with Pan. A true artist who took his time to create the piece that I envisioned. I got a fine line fish arm cuff wrapping around my upper biceps. The shading and the attention to detail to make it line up perfectly was amazing. With all the weird arm positions I had to be in he always made sure I was comfortable. He will take care of you too! Trust me!

Pan is top notch! He was quick to help me get my idea for Hannibal Lector's mask rendered and printed and got straight to work. Nobody else was here and he was steady and took care with the great line work and shading. For a Thursday afternoon around 5pm I was in an out in under an hour

Walked in and these people are nice and make sure you’re happy. Every other shop we went to in the city said our tattoos couldn’t be done on short notice. Blackgate didn’t hesitate. Just did them and did them professionally and priced in my opinion beyond fair. I expected way higher prices with this talent. In Chicago and want a tattoo come here. No questions.

I love tattoos and the blend of Eastern and Western cultures. BlackGate Tattoo is a great tattoo shop. Overall, the experience is excellent. Every tattoo artist there is very dedicated and treats their clients very well. I appreciate their tattooing skills; it's one of the best tattoo shops in Chinatown. I like Eastern-style tattoos, so I had the shop owner tattoo me. Their Western-style tattooing skills are also top-notch.
