Chi Town Tattoo & Body Piercing

Have been here for piercings and walk in tattoos- all the artists/piercers i’ve met have been friendly and easy to work with! Accepts walk ins and usually not too busy! Will definitely return to work with Arturo again!

the front desk is super nice but i recently got a piecing and i specifically asked for a labret placement that would fit a snug hoop. he placed it low and my friend with a labret said it should be higher and he told me he can’t go any higher. the piercing it self took about 10 minutes of the piercer trying to find a needle that would fit through which has never happened to me and i have multiple piercings. it piercing itself was not painful but the 10 min of them shoving different sizes in my lip made me lose color in my face and i felt like i was going to pass out at least two times and i had to take a break. but i could not even take a break where i could feel better because there was nothing in my piercing at all so it was going to close if i waited too long. eventually he got the jewelry in and it was literally in the crease of my chin. i went to every piercing shop in the near by area and they all told me it was wrong placement and too low for the look i wanted. if i wanted to place a hoop in my piercing it would have to be a large gauge and large diameter hoop. and it would still be a very loose fitting hoop. i went back and miguel the piercer on duty was very dismissive and not helpful when i tried to ask about my concerns. i removed my piercing and and the whole experience was very bad. do not go here for facial piercings.

I got my first nose piercing with Miguel & he was so kind & very informative of how to take care of my piercing. He kept his area spotless too! His calm energy & relaxed tone made me feel super comfortable & it went by quickly & it looks great!! I’m going to refer him to my family & friends!!

Went to get my nose pierced yesterday. Mandy took care of me and did the piercing. I appreciated her step by steps prior to the piercing and what to expect pain wise. She was VERY quick, I hardly felt anything. She compared it to popping a zit (which was accurate). I literally walked in, did paperwork and walked out within 20 min. Today, my nose isn’t as sore as I thought it would be. I barely feel it. She did a great job!

Absolutely amazing experience! The tattoo artist Arturo was incredibly professional, patient, and detail-oriented from start to finish. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and turned my idea into something even better than I imagined. He give all information regarding the whole procedure The studio was clean, comfortable, and the whole process felt safe and smooth. The line work is beautiful, the shading is perfect, and the final result exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and great vibes. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next tattoo!
