Apparently it’s “common practice” here to take deposits and keep them if the artist needs to reschedule and you can’t do another day. The artist did not let me know until 6am on the day of my appointment that we would have to reschedule. I understand that things happen but just because you post that your deposits are non-refundable doesn’t make it right when I was ready and prepared for our appointment. Enjoy your $100 tho…

Besides the comfort and professionalism backroomz provides, everybody there is beyond talented and amazing at what they do. The owners are amazing to work with as much as everybody else employed there. I hope to get a tattoo from everyone there soon

I got a stomach piece done by @xtinatown. I cannot recommend her enough! Christina was extremely professional yet welcoming and warm. She has an absolutely lovely and calming energy and a perfectionist quality to her work. She took the utmost care to make sure my symmetrical piece was PERFECT! She insisted on placing the stencil as many times as it took to get it perfect, which I personally appreciated because I am a little timid to advocate for myself in that way. SHE IS EXTREMELY LIGHT HANDED so even the most painful parts of the tattoo were totally tolerable. She works diligently to give you exactly what you want with the best results possible. She is just the best. I am soooo in love with her work and I CANNOT WAIT TO GET MORE WORK WITH HER!

literally my favorite place to get tattoos in chicago!!! i've been multiple times for v's flash days and have gotten a custom tattoo by them for my birthday as well! V has done the majority of my tattoos at this point (8 and counting). the space is so comforting and welcoming and all the artists are really masters of their craft. I can't recommend this place enough I love it so much!!!!!
