Working with Mad-E was one of the most fun experiences I’ve had getting tattooed! I came to her with an idea and a very crude drawing of what I envisioned, and what she came up with exceeded my expectations! Even though I already have several tattoos, she took the time to explain the process, make sure I was comfortable and fed me snacks! Being able to work with someone that is highly communicative and collaborative is high on my list of values for tattoo artists, in addition to the quality of work, which she both possesses. Mad-E is nothing short of amazing! She has completely changed my tattoo experience in the best way possible. After searching for a female artist who aligns with my values, artistic expression, and overall vibe, I had just about given up. Wasn’t sure if my artist existed. I actually met Mad-E through a mutual friend, decided to ask if she would be willing to work with me, and now, here I am, covered in her artwork (full sleeves on both arms, working on a full leg sleeve, etc.) Mad-E has ruined any other tattoo experience for me, permanently. Not only is her work impeccable, but she provides an experience for me that no one will ever be able to duplicate. She takes care of me every minute of our session. My comfort level has always been her top priority. I feel 100% physically and emotionally safe with her. Every single day, I get compliments on my work. I am constantly asked who I go to. I will never go to anyone ever again. I had been to a few artists in the past, and unfortunately, they were not good experiences/bad work. Mad-E is an incredible artist, but she’s an even better human. I’m truly honored to be covered in her work! If you are looking for a collaborative experience where you feel heard, understood, and supported, go see Mad-E! Be careful, because if you do, you might end up living the rest of your life as a walking piece of art.

Mad-E has made my reintroduction to collecting tattoos nothing short of wonderful. I stopped for about 15 years and couldn't be happier I restarted. She made me feel comfortable and welcome upon our first meeting; while part of that is her personality the other part is her knowledge, skill, and dedication to her craft. When discussing my ideas for work she is receptive and asks if she can make alterations or additions to better fit the space on my body, they have always turned out better than what I had in my head! During the tattoo application she makes it enjoyable and listens to me and to my body as it's not an entirely painless process. The reward of having great art on my skin that I love in addition to the compliments I receive make the minor amount of pain completely worth it and keeps me coming back for more. I highly recommend her to anyone thinking about getting their first tattoo or to anyone who is continuing their tattoo collection!!!
