I’ve been a fan of Jennifer’s work for a while, so I was incredibly excited to finally get tattooed by her — especially when she shared how excited she was to work on my idea :-) It had been a while since I’d sat for a larger, thoughtfully planned tattoo (I’d recently only gotten flash pieces), so I really appreciated how comfortable Jennifer made me feel throughout the entire process. I explained that I wanted the piece to subtly pay homage to the Harry Potter series without being too in-your-face, since I loved the naturalistic idea of just the owl. Jennifer truly brought my vision to life and exceeded everything I could have hoped for. It’s exactly what I imagined and more, and I’m so proud to have such beautiful art on my body forever. Beyond her incredible talent, Jennifer was so down-to-earth and easy to talk to. She genuinely took her time to make sure everything was perfect and up to her own standards, and her work truly reflects her passion for her art. I couldn’t be happier with my experience or my tattoo at Ohio City, and I would absolutely love to get more ink by Jennifer in the future. Highly recommend her and any of the artists at this shop!! I truly had the best experience with Mae of Ohio City Tattoo. This was my first tattoo, so needless to say I was nervous! Mae put my worries at ease during my consultation, assuring me my vision and ideas could come to life. She was extremely thorough and patient during the design process, ensuring the whole piece would come together and be cohesive. Initially I wanted the piece done in black & grey, but after her recommendation I chose color. Best decision ever! The vibrant colors and amazing detail catch the attention of everyone I pass. Mae's attention to detail is truly out of this world and her work speaks for itself. Will definitely be back in the future as I cannot recommend her (and her crew) enough!

Worked with Mae on starting a sleeve that I’ve pictured in my head for several years and what she put on my arm already is 10x better than what I could’ve imagined up. I haven’t left my house without at least one person everywhere I go telling me this tattoo is amazing. She was insanely awesome to work with. I showed up (the shop also was SUPER clean and such a relaxing vibe) and she already had her design ready perfectly curated to fit my arm from pit to pit because her booking process is 10/10. This also has been the best/easiest healing process I’ve ever had and it’s by far my biggest piece so that’s definitely saying something. She even answered several questions about aftercare personally to ease my mind. All in all can definitely recommend the shop and Mae personally especially for the anime piece you’ve been dreaming about!

Mae is such an incredible artist! She is nothing shy of professional, and makes sure you're okay throughout the entire process. She works with you on making sure you're 100% happy with the piece and let's you know where and what would look best. The shop is super clean and looks fantastic. I can't wait to see the work she pumps out! All of the pieces she has done on me are my favorites🥰
