Black Dahlia Tattoo Gallery

I have now gotten two tattoos at the Willoughby location of Black Dahlia and I highly recommend Lea White and her work!! I am so impressed at her ability to design a tattoo based off a brief description and match the aesthetic and vibes exactly to what I was wanting. With both my pieces, she placed them so they worked really well with my anatomy to accentuate the designs. She also makes you feel really safe and comfortable asking for any changes to the design or stencil and doesn’t make you feel rushed. She also works with you to incorporate the design elements you want while offering her professional opinion of what would work best, which I appreciate since I am not an artist. Gentle is not a word I previously would have associated with the tattoo process but Lea truly does have a gentle touch. I was honestly very comfortable during both sessions. Booking is very easy through the form on her Instagram profile and she is very communicative before, during, and after the tattoo process. Parking is also very accessible and easy. There is a free, off street lot in front of the store. There is one step up to get into the building.

BDTG is one of the best shops in the Cleveland area. The shop owner, Tim Kocevar, is extremely dedicated and knowledgeable. I’ve had the pleasure of being tattooed by him and two other artists in the shop, Alex and Ash. All of them are incredibly friendly and down to earth. You can vibe to all kinds of different music, and they often play horror movies on the screens. It’s an overall great experience, and the artists are absolutely worth it.

Here getting my 5th tattoo in 14 months from Casey at the NEW CHARDON location. Pretty cool that I am the 1st of many tattoos in their new shop. Great people, and I met the owners yesterday. Clean with a great atmosphere, and they are gonna have an art gallery at this location soon as well. If you want a great tattoo and stay local, this is the BEST place to go. I’m not local but drive 45 min to get mine done. Everyone they hire in seems to be top notch, but I'm a little fond of Casey's work and attention to detail. He is super cautious and safe. I swear he changes his gloves if he touches anything other then his tattoo gun. I do definitely give a 5 Star here.

Brandon did such an amazing job on my tattoo. He’s super personable and easy to talk to, which made the whole session really comfortable. The conversation was great, and he really took his time to make sure everything came out perfect. His work is clean, detailed, and honestly even better than I imagined. I wanted the initials covered and he delivered more than just that! I’m so happy with how it turned out. I’ll definitely be going back to him!

I went to black dahlia for the very first time about a year ago and I was blessed to work with Hannah. I love Game of Thrones and my first tattoo from her was from the show. She not only did the best work I’ve ever seen but was super nice and friendly! The vibe in the studio is always amazing and super chill. And my husband and I are now permanent clients and couldn’t be more thrilled! The work everyone does is absolutely incredible and they all make it a great time being there! Definitely check this place out ! Also, have to give a shoutout to ASH for the My Hero Academia piece that I LOVE!!!.
