Cardinal Ink

Alyssa was awesome! This was my first tattoo so I was nervous and kind of clueless, but she was so, so helpful. Made sure I was doing okay throughout the session and gave me advice on how to handle the healing process. And her work is great! I love my little bug! 💚

I got a portrait tattoo done by Jesse White when he was employed at Square city tattoo. I know he's not employed there anymore and is employed here so I wanted to edit my review in case anyone wanting a tattoo from him gets led here. I was 18 when I got it done and it was my first tattoo. Years have passed and I've realized that he did a lot of things other artists have told me is not professional. He told me my knees were crooked, had a completely different picture chosen when I got to the appointment than any we previously discussed which should have been communicated, tattooed me for over 8 hours straight and didn't try to offer another session. Since then I've had to get it fixed by another artist. The eyes were so crooked and he shaded too dark. I understand portraits take a lot of talent but if you're not confident, don't accept clients who are requesting one. He was nice other than the unprofessional comment though.

Lauren from Cardinal Ink is INCREDIBLE!!! Very friendly, kind, engaging, & attentive to detail, cleanliness & satisfaction of me! She gave me the most wonderful & amazing tattoo & I couldn’t be happier. Definitely will be booking with her in the future for more. Thank you so so much!!! In addition, the environment is very calm & welcoming, & the rest of the staff had great attitudes & were helpful when I walked in! Thank you so much again for the beyond awesome experience!!!

I've been getting tattooed at Cardinal Ink, by Shawn Skale, since he began there and instantly I truly enjoyed him being my artist. A very kind and amusing guy, as well as respectful and very helpful with suggestions (but does accept suggestions too). Dustin K. who runs Cardinal Ink is a very cool, informative person too. As of October 4, 2025 being their official Grand Expansion night, where we played games, won prizes and had an all out good time. Just amazingly fun people and many laughs as well as the "Awe" of the complete over 8,000 square feet, making it officially the Largest Tattoo Shop In The United States. I see Seth here. This tattoo shop is very clean. It's an all open layout, which might make some uncomfortable. Which is what you'd expect from a traditional tattoo parlor. The artists I've met are extremely professional and do fantastic work. I highly recommend any of their artists, but Seth is my favorite. I'll continue to get my work done here, exclusively. Depending on the artist, the style of music usually changes, but you can expect a punk rock type atmosphere.
