Great overall experience! Liv is talented and dedicated to making sure you love placements and artwork! She was so patient and we sized the tattoo several times, and worked on several placements. She was so understanding and helpful to make my tattoo perfect!!! My only qualm is their parking situation which they have no control over. I parked in the lot right next to the shop; paid for six hours totalling $45. However, I completely recommend them. Very clear and great vibes!

Had my tattoo done here by Austin. Such an amazing artist! The piece he designed from ideas I sent him is amazing. From the stencil to the artwork he hand drew on my arm is beyond amazing. I sat for a full day for my arm piece and felt extremely comfortable. The ship was very clean and comfortable. The area with the table had a movie screen. We watched movies, chatted and all the artists their were extremely nice and cool to hang out with. Made the time fly by. I couldn't be happier with piece I had done. Definitely recommend and can't wait to get something else done.

Blackfern is my go-to. I have known Austin - the owner & one of the artists in the studio - for ages & he’s so down to earth. He’s become such an incredibly talented artist over the years, refining his technique. He’s done a number of large pieces on me; my right wrist, my left forearm, left outer upper arm, my entire left thigh… I’m always so happy with the results & the healing is easy. He’s light handed so the entire process is so smooth & it’s always a good experience with the personality he brings to the setting too. He typically draws with sharpie and then tattoos so you know he’s got some serious talent! However, if you have a specific idea you bring on paper he can do stencils too. 10/10 would recommend. He has also brought a helluva lot of other talent into the building with a vast array of skillsets - different styles - so check out the IG page for some details and inspiration to find the artist that works best for you, but Blackfern is definitely a gem spot in Cincinnati!

Just recently got my 3rd tattoo done, but first with a new artist and post kids. I did my research and searched high and low on social media for an artists in Cincinnati and both Brittany and Austin’s work were always the ones I clicked on. I scheduled with Brittany and I absolutely love my tattoo. Brittany was calming, quick and easy to chat with and her skill is amazing! With the artists I used for my first tattoos, I did get samples about a week before so I was definitely nervous that she didn’t follow the same process (but I ABSOLUTELY understand every artist operates differently) and once I arrived and spoke with Brittany I felt so much more at ease. So if you’re like me, try not to freak out about that and trust that she’s the best! I will absolutely be returning to add more in the future!
