Black lantern Tattoo Society

Attended a "BookTok" flash tattoo event. Incredibly busy, but the staff was incredibly friendly, especially the women at the front desk. Had my pieces done by Q who took his time and made sure I was comfortable with placement and position. He also took his time with the tattoo itself, which you don't always get with a flash event. Will definitely come back in the future.

We were looking for an artist to do a special piece on my daughter for her 16th birthday to honor her dad who had passed away in 2023. A friend recommended Black Lantern after following them on TikTok for awhile. I reached out and explained that her dad was buried on her 13th birthday so she wanted to spend her 16th birthday getting a piece to remember him by. I sent a screenshot of an idea that she had for what she wanted done and Quincy tweaked it to improve the design. He offered to do the work at no charge because he also rode motorcycles and had lost his dad as well and related to the situation. We were able to get in the very next day and we had the best experience. The entire staff was so welcoming, kind and friendly but Quincy went above and beyond. He gave his opinions, shared advice and made sure my daughter was comfortable and happy with her first tattoo experience. We are customers for life! I highly recommend Black Lantern Tattoo to anyone looking for a personalized, special experience.

Absolutely lovely environment, it’s so relaxing the vibe is so fun. Very welcoming. Got this beautiful tattoo done by Q yesterday it’s came out absolutely amazing. Q is a very understanding and caring and thoughtful artist his vibe is awesome and his personality is so cool. I already have another appointment scheduled with Q and will have many more scheduled with him.

I had such a great experience at Black Lantern Tattoo. From the second I walked in, it just felt super welcoming and clean. Everyone there is really talented, but I have to say Donald is an amazing artist. He really listens to what you want and makes sure everything looks exactly how you pictured it. He made me feel comfortable the whole time, and you can tell he actually cares about his work. My tattoo turned out even better than I expected ….the detail, the line work, everything is just perfect. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I’ll 100% be going back and I definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a good tattoo shop with a great vibe.

Update a couple days later: Absolutely loving the tattoo! (pics below plus the one my boyfriend got). To the whole staff at Black Lantern, thank youuuuuuu! Went for the Halloween flash sale they were doing with my boyfriend, and I could not have asked for a better shop to go to. Even with how packed they were, they were really caring and took their time with the tattoos. It was a whole vibe. And shout out to Louis and Marissa especially. I was getting my first tattoo and passed out. Louis was really sweet and offered to even let me come back to get it finished. Really attentive on seeing the signs of me getting woozy. Marissa even got me some Gatorade and a brownie to get my blood sugar back up. Everyone was so caring and sweet. I even had some of the other artists giving me tips of what to do before I come back. I will FOR SURE be coming back to get more. It was the best first tattoo experience I ever had. Smooches to everyone who works there❤️
