Steady Tattoo & Body Piercing

I came in to get a septum piercing. It was appointment only and I did it same day with Katie and it was such a smooth, quick painless experience. I was very nervous because I felt like a septum piercing is very delicate place and I was just really impressed how quick and painless it was and the pricing was really good even for their fine higher end jewelry. Would definitely come back here!

Ryan was very helpful and explained the whole process to me slowly. The atmosphere was calm and it was overall a timely and enjoyable experience. I got my hidden helix pierced and it looks awesome :)

So this experience didn't happen this year, but it was recent enough for this much needed review. Sorry for how long this is. I decided to get my double helix pierced one day, and impulsly decided to come here to get it done. Everything was ok at first, the girl was nice, but the piercing was the worst experience of my life. She pierced the first one, no big deal. And then the second one, I swear to God it felt like after she got the needle in, she was unable to follow the jewelry through. It felt like she took the tube out or whatever she used, took another needle and shoved it through the new hole again. I have never experienced such piercing pain. Mind you I have 15 piercings all over my entire body. This was horrific. When she was finally done I leaned up, looked behind me and where my head was laying was COVERED in blood. The back of my neck and ear, all bloody. I instantly stood up to look at the piercing in the mirror and blacked out. I was so lightheaded and dizzy. I couldn't see myself at all from all the dark spots in my vision. I don't know why, but I didn't say anything, paid, and left. On the way home I had to pull over because I literally felt drunk. I was ill for the next few hours, and had to clean the blood off the back of my ear/head at home. A month goes by and it became so unbelievably infected. (TW gross) Like a pea size pus and blood filled sack. Horrible, absolutely horrible. Now today, I have gotten it to be at an ok state, but I still have problems with the piercings and I probably always will. This is just my experience, just felt it needed to be shared. Worst piercing experience of my life.

Absolutely fantastic! Ryan, the piercer here got me in immediately, was super kind, very professional, thorough, and just a pleasure to work with. He perfectly placed my eyebrow piercing, got me set up with aftercare tips, and out the door in 10 minutes. I couldn't recommend more! Came up from Rochester to get my nose pierced. Definitely worth the drive. Prices are reasonable. The shop was clean and welcoming. Katie was super friendly and made me feel comfortable.
