Art Monster Tattoo

David Hutson did an awesome job on my tattoo! I sent him a few photo ideas, and then he created an image that I love. Something as simple as a camera on abstract art turned out exactly what I had envisioned!

Had the best experience getting a sleeve done by David over the last few years. His artwork is incredible, and he puts a ton of effort into bringing your ideas to life. Also an amazing guy and awesome shop atmosphere overall, always felt 100% comfortable and at ease there.

I could not be happier with my experience at Art Monster with Chris Sabatino! If you are looking for a tattoo artist and studio, look no further. I am 46 years old. I had no ink and in less than 2 months Chris completed one of the most epic sleeve tattoos I have ever seen. The way he combined ultra realism, big bold lines and contrast and flowing detail showcases his talents. I brought him the concept of depicting the battle between the Archangel Michael and the dragon from Revelations 12. He nailed it! I wanted an angel but warrior stylized instead of the typical effeminate renaissance style of angel. The details he achieved in the armor, physique, helmet and wings are incredible. As for the dragon I wanted it to appear to have a definite shape and form and yet at the same time seem like it didn't actually have a physical body. Once again the details throughout the head to the holes in the wings are unbelievable. For the fill, I brought him concept art with filigree. But he suggested a different style of filigree that fit me so much better. The way it flows from my wrist to the back of my shoulder is awesome. It is also spectacular how it moves and accentuates my arm when I flex. Chris was able to schedule me on 3 sets of back to back days for a total of 6 sessions. He put in long days and I was able to get the whole sleeve project completed in under 2 months. Chris was quick to respond to my first inquiry, got me in quickly for a consultation and thankfully had pretty prompt availability! From the initial consultation to the final details being put into the tattoo I had full confidence in Chris Sabatino, that he would bring his best and exceed my expectations. He said, "Don't worry. I've got you." It was so important for me to be able to trust him throughout the process. Some of my favorite compliments so far are: - I don't know much about tattoos, but I know that is a nice one. - Is your tattoo artist famous? - That tattoo is gangster. - That looks expensive. - I love your art.
