My experience with Bob Bitner at Catalyst was everything I could think of that would earn five stars. I’ve spent around 50 hours in tattoo chairs with other reputable and award-winning artists, and Bob is simply in a different class. His customer service is exceptional, which in my experience is surprisingly hard to find at this level. His creative vision reflects decades of hard-earned experience and a perspective that can’t be replicated. Most importantly, this was the first tattoo session I’ve had that truly felt collaborative. I’ve spent plenty of prior sessions stressed about trying to bring a vision to fruition. With Bob, I felt heard, understood, and confident in where we were going—and I was blown away by the outcome. I follow artists for years before I’ll consider letting them tattoo me. Bob is an OG and a mentor-level expert who has clearly earned his place among the elite. Choosing a tattoo artist is an extremely personal decision and not something I take lightly. If Bob’s style aligns with what you’re looking for, I would recommend him without hesitation for high-end work. The difference in both the experience and the finished piece was remarkable.
