There are a million tattoo artists out there, but somehow this place acts like they’re doing you a favor by taking your money. Appointment only, $200+ an hour, and everything has to work around their schedule. The attitude and lack of flexibility are wild for an industry with this many talented artists to choose from. At these prices, I’d expect great customer service and some appreciation for the person spending the money not an ego trip. Plenty of other options out there.

Oriana is an incredible artist and a genuinely thoughtful person. From the beginning, she took the time to get to know me and understand the meaning behind my memorial tattoo, and worked closely with me to create a portrait of my dog that truly captures his spirit and essence. She communicated throughout the entire process and made sure I felt comfortable and supported during my session, which meant so much given how emotional this piece was for me. She created a calm, welcoming environment that allowed me to really be present with the experience. Her attention to detail, artistry, and ability to translate something so personal into a beautiful piece of work really set her apart. I’m beyond grateful for the outcome. I highly recommend her for realism, fine line, and color tattoos.

Ori Merchan created a beautiful tattoo for me in memory of my late wife. From just my written ideas, she created a tattoo that was better in every way to what I imagined. Composition, color, detail all exceeded expectation. It had been 34 years since my last tattoo and I found this experience at Kansas City Tattoo Club to be far more enjoyable. I highly recommend Ori Merchan if you are thinking a new tattoo.

I scheduled my tattoo with Ori and gave her all my ideas I was envisioning for it. I love all her fine line and floral work and fully trusted her to come up with something completely amazing and completely me. The day of, she was so sweet and very attentive as it was my first tattoo. She checked in a lot to make sure I was OK. It was a really comfortable and memorable experience. The shop has such a fun atmosphere. She worked her magic and I couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s delicate, beautiful, colorful, and the mouse is adorable!!

The work I got from Josh Forshe means so much. He is friendly, kind and an incredible artist. I immediately felt welcomed and am so grateful for the art. Tattoos have helped me heal so much and these ones mean the world, I’ll wear them for a lifetime with honor.
