Grimm Tattoo and Bert Grimm Museum

Meant to review long ago. Back in October 2025 me and my out of town family came here and got tattoos for my sister who passed away days prior. Actually got the tattoos done a few hours before her viewing. They treated us all with empathy and care. I’m not sure the artists my family had but I had Antonio and he was very kind. Mine had my sisters message and signature with a sunflower and I’m not sure if he did it on purpose but he wrote that out first then added the sunflower last. It meant a lot to me and my whole family. I plan on coming back this week to get my baby sister an 18th bday tattoo. Y’all are amazing.

Love this place, my new favorite tattoo shop and artists. They are so kind, smoke friendly, and budget friendly!! They welcome walk-ins unlike many others and the story behind the shop is so cool, ask Wes Grimm about it.

Great place to get a tattoo from beginning to end! Price was very reasonable!! I was a walk-in and showed TJ a photo of what I was looking for and he drew it up, fit it to the size of my forearm and then got to work tattooing me. Also loved hearing the shops history while there!! I will be returning!! 100% recommended!!!!

A group of us decided to get tattoos after work one day and we chose the Grimm Tattoo and Bert Grimm Museum. It was a great experience. The place was clean, the artists were talented, efficient, and kind. About 10 of got tattoos and we were in and out within a couple hours and there were only 3 artists working that day. We loved our tattoos. The whole place was a vibe. I definitely recommend checking out this historic establishment if you are looking for a tattoo shop in the area. They are cash only, but they have an ATM on site. However, it would be better to bring your own cash. The ATM doesn’t charge a flat fee. It charges a percentage of the amount you’re withdrawing. They are also right next to a bar and a couple eateries if you wanna get a quick bite before or after you get inked.

Hard to express how incredible of an experience and outcome visiting Davey is. He is an old friend so we have lots to talk about, but he could have the best conversation with anyone. I am laughing more than crying, which is a testament to Davey because traditional tattoos are not for the weak of skinned! Truly appreciate the dedication to preserving traditional tattoo flash with modern sparks. It's adds a layer of appreciation knowing the service you pay for here is going to fund a 501c3 to preserve the Grimm Family's visual contributions to the history of American tattoo culture. Seeing Davey and others keeping this alive within the skin of the living is a testament to the vibe of this shop. Thanks for always leaving me looking cooler and feeling inspired!
