Electric Iron Tattoo

I’ve been getting tattooed by Miss Molly for more than 5 years. Her work is quality and her artistry is exceptional. I give her info to anyone I know who is interested in getting tattooed.

I came in to get a few small hand tattoos about a year ago and met Molly. I havent been to anyone else since! I love more traditional looking tattoos, and Molly has always executed my tattoo visions so perfectly. Her prices are always reasonable and she does exceptional work! Shes also just the sweetest soul :) As long as she is still in the KC area, shes the only artist I will ever be going to. Please see photos!

I loved getting tattooed by Molly at Electric Iron! She's a great artist and I really appreciated her professionalism. I'm so happy with my zombie in the snow from the Series of Unfortunate Events books, Molly executed the vision perfectly. I couldn't recommend her more highly, Molly should be your new official tattoo artist!

I came in about 2 months ago for a simple roman numeral tattoo, of my brothers adoption date. I emailed the shop beforehand and asked them who would be best to do it, i was told "That sounds like a walk in tattoo. Stop by anytime. Any artist can handle it." I came in and Jesus came to the front desk. I want to preface this by saying I should've done better and asked to see some of his previous work and learn more about his background (I believe he normally does image kind of tattoos, not letters). He seemed confident and I let him handle it though. The tattoo was done in less than 15 minutes, and it shows. I found out after that he had only had his license for about a week and a half lol. I didn't notice how bad it was until I got home, so I paid $80 plus a tip for this. I'm just honestly disappointed in this tattoo. Look at it for more than 10 seconds and you can see its many flaws.This tattoo has already started bleeding a lot as well. Gonna have to find one heck of a retoucher or get it removed.

Update - the owner of Electric Iron tattoo, Avery, reached out to me and offered to fix my tattoo. I appreciate the time He took to reach out to me and help fix my tattoo and turn it into something I absolutely love and wanted to begin with. 100% recommend checking this place out he does amazing work!!! Pictures attached show before and after Go here - but absolutely avoid Elmo. Received a tattoo here. Every artist was amazing except for Elmo. Every artist that was working on someone drew their art. Elmo printed his off and was distracted while working on my piece. He ignored details in the piece I gave him, the lines are jagged, he’s rushed and heavy handed. He had to make one line thicker because he messed it up. The list goes on. I came with a group and every single artist was amazing. Except Elmo. I would give five stars but I did not receive a five star piece. But please come here and give everyone a try. Except Elmo.
