Bleeding Heart Tattoo

Took my daughter to get her first tattoo today. We live in Shawnee Kansas but decided to go to Bleeding Heart Tattoo shop in Lee's Summit. A long drive but well worth it! Exceptionally clean and really friendly staff. Again, her first tattoo and she decided to get it on her rib cage. Justin E. was the artist who did the tattoo. He was very upfront with her about what to expect and very patient with her while doing the work. Afterwards he made sure she completely understood the aftercare. Absolutely love the tat! Great work! Naturally, as anyone who has tattoos knows, she was already planning her next one as soon as we left and said she'd like Justin to do it again! Also, something I thought was pretty cool, her mom was talking about a tattoo idea for herself and he actually recommended another artist from Bleeding Heart because mom's idea was more her speciality. Would have been real easy to just say he could do it! Instead he pointed us to the person with more experience with that style. Just a great experience today!

I seriously cannot recommend Jason enough!! He is incredibly talented and makes the entire experience so comfortable and easy from start to finish. He really takes the time to listen to what you want, pays attention to every little detail, and makes sure you’re completely happy with everything before he starts. His work is absolutely amazing, and you can tell how much time, care, and talent he puts into every piece. He’s also super kind, professional, easy to talk to, and makes you feel comfortable the entire appointment. I’ve been SO happy with his work and genuinely couldn’t imagine going to anyone else. If you’re looking for an artist who truly cares about his clients and takes pride in what he does, Jason is definitely your guy. 1000/10 recommend!! 🤍

We scheduled an appointment with Justin to get a couple mother/daughter tattoos, and also another tattoo for my oldest. Justin was professional, thorough, and made the experience a great one! We will be scheduling some more work with Justin for sure.

Always great people and atmosphere. Jeremy and his full crew are amazing. You get what you pay for!! This is for life, don't go cheap on a lifetime decision. I have over 100 hours with Jeremy. I fully trust anyone there with a tattoo and piercing. Don't make a cheap decision now and pay for it later literally and physically. Have it done right the first time!!! Keep it up peeps, you all rock!!

I was set to get a Christina piercing, which I ended up not having the correct anatomy for. Instead, she checked me for a VCH piercing and told me that I could get that one instead, which i instantly agreed on. As soon as I agree, she comes back and says that I can’t get my piercing done because she booked back to back and I have 10 minutes left, which would be the entire sterilization process.. Which if you knew that why would you look at my anatomy for the piercing and give me hope that the piercing could be done then and there? I literally wasted $65 in Ubers just to not get a piercing.. Truly, I’m so irritated. Edit: Also, note that she literally told me before checking for the Christina that I could get another piercing done today if my anatomy wasn’t correct for the Christina. Wasted my time and money, really.
