I would not recommend Studio after 5 Tattoo for dermal piercings. My fiancée went in for a dermal piercing, and the experience was extremely disappointing. During the procedure, the piercer appeared to struggle and ultimately told us afterward that he had never performed a dermal piercing before. That was shocking information to hear only after the procedure had already been done. The dermal was not properly placed, the anchor reportedly came out during the procedure, and my fiancée was left with a noticeable open wound on her face. We trusted the studio to have someone experienced performing this type of piercing, and instead left feeling like she had been used as someone’s first attempt. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend finding a piercer with proven experience in dermal implants before trusting Studio 5 Tattoo with this procedure. We are now left dealing with the physical damage and the cost of having it corrected elsewhere.

AMAZING!!! Customer service, professionalism, efficient, kindness 1000/10. Roger did a wonderful job on my tat. It’s on my thumb which can be a tough spot, but he’s very gentle. If you’re looking for a black tattoo artist in the ATL area, I highly recommend you come see Roger!

Roger was great! He was personable, very open to questions and straightforward with his suggestions. His space was warm, welcoming, clean and inviting. He has a very comfortable seating area right outside so customers won't have to stand while they wait to be serviced. I am very satisfied with my experience and I will definitely return soon! When I finally decided I wanted to get this tattoo done after talking about it for years, I’d already been following Roger on instagram for a while just because I liked his style of neo geo tribal tattoo so much. During our consult I brought an idea of what I was looking for and wanted him to have creative license for the execution. Roger did free hand line work and brought his art to life on my arm in long day sessions. He made the whole process easy (not painless lol) and straightforward. From consultation to line work to shading and details we got this tattoo done in 2 full day sessions in consecutive months earlier this year and 3 months later the healed tattoos look great. Roger’s a great guy to work with and I definitely recommend his studio if you’re in the market for a tattoo.
