Best tattoo shop. Period. Joe, the owner is a phenomenal artist and great guy. He’s a very easy guy to be around and puts you at ease. Saje, Angelina, Duel are all fantastic as well-I have been a regular at Thunderbolt for several years and have been tattooed by all the artists. Maya has done several piercings for me as well. If you’re looking for your next “home” tattoo shop, Thunderbolt is the place for you.

I’ve been going to this place for about a decade now. Originally got a cow on my wrist, and an industrial piercing. So I’ve seen 3 people there, all have been fantastic. Absolutely adore Saje and the work she does, I have 3 specifically horror themed tattoos, a set of chickens, and some script done by her and all healed perfectly. The rest of the shop is always so nice. Do recommend to friends, and have brought family here.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Joe Vegas for all of my pieces—he’s done my full back and sleeves, and every time has been a fantastic experience. Joe is one of the coolest, most down-to-earth guys you’ll ever meet. Not only is he a true artist, but he’s also got some amazing stories to share, making every session feel like a great conversation with a friend. He’s got a real passion for tattooing and it shows in every piece he does. Bottom line—if you’re looking for top-notch tattoos or piercings, Thunderbolt Tattoo is the place to be. I had quite an amazing experience from this shop alone compared to a lot of other shops I been to in the Atlanta area. When you first walk in you have a great shop manager to greet you named JR. When I had my first ever interaction on the phone with him prior to coming inside the shop, he was the most friendliest in the hospitality section of other tattoo shops. Every time I would call other shops it would be sort of blunt and cold cut. It was like a feeling that they kind of hated what they did. My first time there I wasn’t even going in for a tattoo… it was for some lobe piercings. Now, I have two sleeves from Saje who was very kind and loves the work she does. You can tell she puts effort into her art. I’ve been a regular since November 7th 2021 and I don’t see myself stopping until I get everyone in that shop to tattoo a section of my body. If anyone ever needs to get tattooed by Saje I highly recommend, because she can perfect any style graciously!
