Golden Anchor Tattoo

I went in with my mom to get matching tattoos, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Bryson was patient, friendly, and professional throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend both him and the shop again and again.

My first tattoo and I’m so happy with it! It may seem like a simple design to most, but Bryson was so good asking me questions on the design, size, orientation and positioning. And he was so patient and kind as we did multiple tweaks to it to make it perfect for me. Bryson spent over an hour with me on the design tweaking, actual tattooing was done in 5 mins. Clean and professional studio and I highly recommend. Thank you Bryson!

Golden Anchor is top tier! My artist was Theo! Very professional, personable, and just a stand up guy! I already had 2 sleeves prior to coming to Golden Anchor so I’m not new to tattoos. Theo is for sure my new artist! I’ll be back!

A couple months ago my mother’s house burned down and my 8 month and 1 year old cats died in the fire. As a 22 year old college senior I had never gotten a tattoo but wanted to get something to commemorate them. Last Saturday I came in to see about getting a tattoo incorporating various sentimental elements revolving around what happened on my upper middle back. An incredible artist named Bryson met me at the door, I told him about the elements I wanted with the tattoo- Saint Florian cross, JFK half dollar, cat names, Bible verse, and he came up with a beautiful design on the spot that incorporated everything beautifully, quoted me a price, and gave me my first tattoo all within the span of roughly 2.5 hours. He was incredibly accommodating and friendly, even at one point after he had done the stencil, I wanted to make the 3 in the Bible verse Roman italics to match my name’s suffix, and he immediately was able to do it. I got thirsty during the tattoo and he gave me a complimentary bottled water. I was pretty nervous as it was my first tattoo and his friendly vibe and positive attitude made the experience go from something I was nervous about doing to something actually very pleasant. Bryson ensured the tattoo was perfectly symmetrical and in the dead center of my back, and him as well as the other 2 tattoo artists in the shop answered so many of the questions I had about the realm of tattoos and styles there are of tattoos. Bryson gave me incredible aftercare instructions afterwards upon the completion of the tattoo, and also gave me additional complimentary second skin should the one currently on fall off early. On top of all of that, I left a beanie there after I left, and Bryson immediately texted me so I could retrieve it. I had an incredible experience and would scream from the mountains recommendations to any of my friends or anyone reading this review that’s thinking about getting a tattoo to go to Bryson at Golden Anchor. From the bottom of my heart, this tattoo meant the world to me with everything that happened and I cannot thank Golden Anchor and Bryson enough for it. 100/10.

Came to town for a concert and wanted to get matching BFF tattoos. Bryson took such great care of us including my 2 friends getting their first tattoos. Bryson was professional and welcoming from the very first phone call. He checked in multiple times before we got to town and was sooooo patient with us deciding what we wanted. The service when we arrived was even better. Everyone was so welcoming, making us feel comfortable. Our tattoos are perfect! It was such a special occasion and we couldn’t have picked THE PERFECT person!
