recently decided to get my first tattoo in my mid forties. I found the shop in recommendations online. When I arrived, I found the shop to be a very welcoming and professional artistic environment. Manny took great care of me, patiently answering all my questions and making sure I understood what was going on and satisfied at every step of the process. He even helped me add some artistic flourishes to the basic design idea I came in with, making for an even better final result. I absolutely recommend this shop and Manny in all respects. I could not be more satisfied with my experience and my tattoos. Looking forward to getting many more.

I made an appointment prior to getting my tattoo. The checking in process was very easy! And Jorden Ruppe was my artist and she did an AMAZING job! Since it was my first tattoo, she was very sweet and kind to me and made sure everything was okay with me. An amazing tattoo shop! Definitely recommend!

I had an amazing experience at Visual Impact Tattoo in Matthews! Kat was incredible to work with. I came in last minute and ended up getting two tattoos, and she was more than accommodating. The entire process was smooth, comfortable, and professional from start to finish. She really listened to what I wanted, worked with me on the designs, and both tattoos came out beautiful. You can tell she truly cares about her work and her clients. I would definitely recommend Kat to anyone looking for quality work and a great overall experience.

Hands down, the BEST experience I’ve had ever. I desperately wanted to get an old mistake tattoo covered up, and of all the shops I had reached out to, Manny was the only one to actually respond to me. He offered to do the cover up, but really wanted a guest artist to be able to take a look since he specialized in cover up’s. I’m SO glad he did! My tattoo is absolutely beautiful and I could not be more happy. The shop was clean, well lit, and all of the artists were super friendly. I’ll return again for my next work.

How do you describe perfection? This is one of the best experiences that I’ve had in a tattoo studio. I’ve been working with my artist for about 4 years now, and he has recently opened this studio. Some of the key things I look for are cleanliness, customer, service, and punctuality and then there’s the skill. I have literally watched my tattoo artist hone his craft and nurture his passion, and it has turned into a work of art for me. He works with a few other ladies who are amazing as well.
