Canvas Tattoo & Art Gallery

Soldier has done a phenomenal job of picking up the work from my previous artist (his friend) that passed away. It's a corvid (crow/ravens)-inspired arm sleeve and while a lot of his work features incredibly saturated and beautiful color, he's done a spectacular job with the black and grey for this piece. He is very sincere, thoughtful about design, and has been absolutely meticulous when it comes to the details. He is highly communicative and acts with such integrity: given the incredibly detailed nature of a coverup of the top portion of this sleeve (with so much dark and complex line work that he had to start with), the section has been taking a little longer, but he has communicated this every step of the way and has not accepted tips until it is done (despite my best attempts to get him to accept them haha). He takes pride in his work and a job well done and it shows. He has taken a piece that has come with a lot of complex feelings given the situation with my prior artist/his friend and turned it into a beautiful experience. And that is largely in part because he is just a wonderful, kind person and a tremendously talented artist. Please don't hesitate to book with him, he is really special and you can know that he will treat you with integrity and kindness throughout the process, and that the finished product will be absolutely baller. I also want to give a shout-out to the staff of Canvas - everyone has been so kind and friendly. The front desk staff never fail in making me laugh and feel welcome there. I feel so honored to be getting work done at Canvas, surrounded be fantastic people and artists.

I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo. Pandora is insanely talented, professional, and took the time to listen and work up an incredible design based on what I requested. She was meticulous and paid close attention to every detail. All of the studio staff were very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this artist and studio to anyone looking for beautiful, high-quality work. I will definitely be back for my next tattoo!

If you’re looking for an incredible tattoo artist, I can’t recommend Chris at Canvas Tattoo enough. I’m currently getting a Doctor Who TARDIS with flowers on my arm, and this piece is quite meaningful to me. From the very beginning, Chris took the time to listen to my ideas, offered thoughtful input, and created something that truly captures what I envisioned. His talent is obvious, but what really stood out was how comfortable and at ease he made me feel throughout the entire session. He was patient, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure every detail was just right. I’m not even finished yet, I still have another session to go, but that’s probably the best compliment I can give: I’m actually looking forward to going back. I have complete confidence that the finished tattoo is going to be something I’ll be proud to wear for the rest of my life. I went in on a whim. Totally just walking around and figured. Why not? I would 100% do it again! First of all, I was greeted warmly and we talked about options for what I wanted. I was fully permitted to look through their books and take my time to think about what I wanted. While I looked through their books of flash options a man came in, also with no appointment and was given the same level of respect and courtesy I was. From there I sat down with an artist and discussed what I wanted. Then it was a short wait while a station was set up for my work to begin. The work is so lovely and I am so happy to have had this experience. I was sent off with a fond farewell and an invitation to return! I fully appreciate and am happy with my experience!

Pandora is amazingly talented. The detail on my Pine Warbler tattoo is another level. She listened to all my ideas and turned them into reality!! It healed beautifully and I love it!! Everyone at Canvas is really friendly. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and welcomed. Great vibe. Victoria is helpful, thoughtful, friendly, and sweet. I will definitely be back!
