I have so much to say about Zak, it’s hard to figure out where to begin. Both of my tattoos by Zak are thin line transcriptions of handwriting. Zak took a note written to me by my grandmother in a book she gifted me and turned it into an incredible reminder she’s always with me. My second tattoo was of my own handwriting as a little reminder to myself to protect my boundaries and my identity. Zak makes you feel safe, heard, and gives you just exactly what you ask for.

Zak is great. He did a great job shading and fixing up a tattoo on my back. It came out better than I thought it would.

You know you got that ONE tattoo artist when you are willing to fly to them and Zak is my dude! Love sharing ideas with him and then he puts it on in a great timing. Been going to him for years now and will not go anywhere else. Thanks for all the ones I got and all the tats that will be coming up soon brother!

Zak has done 2 of my 3 tattoos and I had the honor of him doing my first one back in august!! I travel out of state to go see him, and it is 100% worth it! He has such a chill vibe and is great at explaining what’s going on, especially if you have any questions! So happy to see him going out and being successful! Makes me so happy to also see him prioritizing making it as sensory friendly as possible!!

I reached out to several artists about a tattoo fix/cover before I found Zak. Almost all said they couldn’t do it in a dainty way and I’d either need to wait years for it to fade, get removal sessions, or get something super large to cover it. When I emailed Zak, he responded with “I’d absolutely love to do this for you!!!”. I can’t tell you the relief I felt. The current tattoo was my first and only, so to say I had a lot of tattoo anxiety is an understatement. The cover Zak did shows beautiful detail & fine line/delicacy so well, but also covers my old, bold, blown out tattoo. Of course it’s not a complete cover, but I knew that going in & I didn’t expect it. I needed something I’d look down at and love. Most artist would not accept me because “my design wouldn’t fully cover and needed to be bigger”. Now, I’m not a huge tattoo girl, and wanted something to commemorate my only son. So something big/unmeaningful just wasn’t going to work for me. Zak- I am obsessed and I can’t thank you enough for accepting me as a client and doing the work I needed/wanted! And at an affordable price!!!! We already have plans to go back in a couple of weeks for a piece he’s working on for my husband. Anyone looking for an inclusive, open minded, genuine, kind, chill & talented artist- give Zak a shout. You’ll be amazed at his “bedside manner” and feel an immediate bond just like I did.
