Hillsborough St Tattoo and Body Piercing

went here with my friends a few days ago and had a wonderful experience! the piercer was very funny and kind and walked my friend through the whole process. def recommend based off of vibes alone too, the shop was so cool and had a dark but cozy atmosphere. the jewelry selection was pretty good too, very high quality! 10/10 hit this place up on ur next Raleigh trip (also prices are very good!! super surprising for the high quality materials, love when you dont have to break ur budget to update ur avatar)

Rikki made me feel so comfortable getting my piercings! She was super informative, patient, and kind. Would absolutely get pierced by her again!

Michael is the consummate tattoo artist. It was my first ever one and he was super supportive and communicative. And he took great care to make sure the tattoo I wanted came out exactly as I’d hoped. The piece is healing wonderfully and I’m already planning what I’d like to do next with him leading the way. Couldn’t recommend a better shop!

Been getting tattooed by Michael there for well over a year now. He does incredible pieces and really works with you. I cannot recommend him enough to be honest. He's just so good! He did a full color Ghibli sleeve for me plus another B&W piece based on Dune. These are very visible obviously and the work is so solid that stoked to have them so prominently displayed. I've been tattooed by some amazing artists all over the country and having someone as gifted as Michael locally, that's just awesome!

The shop was clean and had a really professional vibe. Riki and Christian were super nice and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I had a little trouble getting my existing nose ring back in, but Riki stayed patient and got it done. The wait time was really short for a walk-in, especially in a busy area near NCSU. I’ll definitely be coming back for any future piercings.
